LSU has proven to be able to win titles with just any coach, while Bama has relied on all time greats.
Alabama has won titles with FIVE different coaches.

???
Outside of Vince Dooley and Kirby Smart UGA has 1. Outside of Shug Jordan and Gene Chizik Auburn has 0. Outside of Steve Spurrier and Urban Meyer Florida has 0. Outside of Neyland and Fulmer Tennessee has 0.

Take away any school’s national championship winning coaches and you won’t have many national championships.

Imagine - without John Wooden UCLA only has one title. Pretty pathetic.

You’re so eaten up with Bama you researched all this, formatted it into a post and put it on a college football trash talk mess board. Get a life, son.

If your argument involves removing 42 years out of 65 year span, you're quite literally fricking retarded. You might be joining my signature for this one

Neither of these would have been possible without Nick Saban.

OOF. If Alabama fans could read they would be VERY unhappy with this post. They’ll never accept that their entire program is Bear and Saban because 90%+ of their fan base is made up of poor trailer trash rednecks who need Alabama, the state, to be some inherently mystical breeding ground for massive success in football because that’s where they get their self esteem from.

That’s what happens when you cross an extremely uneducated shithole state with no cultural significance with the Mississippi/Alabama/Arkansas/North Louisiana backwoods redneck brand of delusional arrogance.

Y’all should add those two championships to the other 27 fake championships you claim then

Sounds like they do a great job of hiring the best and win titles with them 25% of the time. If that’s not rolling I don’t know what is

I agree, but they have not shown that they can win NC's in the AP era outside of the two greatest coaches in CFB, EVER.

That's just a fact.

Ole miss has zero AP/Coaches NCs even with their GOAT (Johnny Vaught)!

Did you know that if you don't count Bill Walsh, George Seifert, Jim Harbaugh, & Kyle Shanahan - the Niners have never even been to a Super Bowl??

I don't know why you are laughing. How had LSU been playing in college football in the decade prior to Nick Saban's arrival in Baton Rouge? I also think that LSU had compiled either five or six 10-win seasons in their entire history prior to Saban. How many have they had since the year 2000?

Bryant, Saban, or Stallings; who all won championships; were coach at Alabama for 49 of the 65 years since 1958. That leaves 16 years. Alabama did not win any national championships during this 16 year period. This was the worst 16 years of modern Alabama football. During this 16 years, Alabama only had five 10 win or better seasons and only won the SEC twice.

But sure, compare that 16 years with 65 years of LSU results. Seems like a fair comparison.

So if you take away half of the seasons Alabama has been playing football makes sense

Damn. So 'Bama isn't nearly as good if you take away 32 seasons and 12 championships. I knew they were frauds.

So our title winners stayed for a combined half century while LSU’s were one and quit or fired types.

I kind of want to start applying this elsewhere.

What if we took away LSU's 2 most successful coaches in basketball and baseball? What would that look like?

Well they were head coaches for 42 years here so that doesn’t leave much room for many others to do much since the 60’s. Sorry all of your coaches sucked or quit on you, with and without titles.

Yeah...42 out of 88 seasons since the dawn of the AP Poll.

LSU fans have always given him credit for reviving the program and setting it up for the success it has had since Saban got there.

But can you tell me why Michigan St. and the Miami Dolphins have not won a NC or Super Bowl since he left them?
