The fact that he only got 15 carries against LSU should be a fireable offense for BOB. I honestly think if y'all committed to the run that game may have turned out differently.

We’ll average 7ypc down the field and settle for 3 poorly executed pass plays once we’re inside the 10 yard line. This is our new identity.

The play calling was pretty questionable Saturday. Asking Young to throw over 50 passes is not a recipe for success.

The ideal timeline is Alabama losing to Ole Miss and LSU getting beat by TAMU, which isn’t unlikely at all.
The former would cement both Golding’s and BoB’s fate and would prevent LSU from getting embarrassed in the title game as well as allow Kiffin to ascend to the greatness that is Nick Saban’s best OC vs. his best DC in the title game.

Properly used, with a good mix of screens, pop passes, power runs, and sweeps, Gibbs could be a nightmare for defenses. Throw in McClellan and Williams to help pound defenses, and (given serviceable OL play) our rushing and out-of-the-backfield passing games could be really difficult to handle.
It's just a dream, though. BoB prefers long-developing and predictable pass plays that don't get anyone open. It's an interesting strategy for a team short on playmaking receivers and long on RBs, but it is a strategy, I guess.
