What back-up player has come in during a game against your favorite team and either almost or ruined your day?
There are so many against Auburn, mostly QB's, but I have to say it was Tyler Wilson
When Auburn was starting to look like we could be great in 2010, we played Arkansas mid season. Ryan Mallet, the legend, got "Fairley'ed" early in the game that was close. Bobby P brought Wilson in and he commenced to burn our pitiful secondary to the ground.
I was like,
Eventually we got to him and he made some mistakes but I think at one time he was 15/18 for a billion yards.
Never liked him after that.

No and I wouldn't expect it from you, it's just that the answer for UGA seems to be the obvious one that I dont' think any of us want to bring up again lol

Back when he had that stupid Napoleon Dynamite ginger afro. That made it hurt worse.

Syvelle Newton in Columbia, but we still somehow won. Mainly because we held the ball the entire 3rd quarter.

Adam Griffith, backup placekicker 2013

He was a starter, but for this particular game he was a backup due to a nagging injury. Freaking Connor Shaw.

Hm. Ole Miss' MO is to usually make an otherwise pedestrian starter look like a Heisman candidate. I'm sure one of the 25 RBs to run for over 100 yards against us the last 2 years was a back-up

Kamara tore us a new one when we played Tenn. I was like "this dude is their BACKUP?!?"
Paid off though because I knew he would be good in the NFL so I got him for my dynasty fantasy league.

There are too many for State fans to list. We have created the RAT - random a-hole theory, to explain this.
