Backup WR for UGA in 2002 that single handedly won the game with like 225 yards receiving and Mossed our DB on 4th and 15 to win the game. He was an upper classmen that had like 8 total receptions for his career leading up to the game. UGA fans help me out, what was his name?

That game started the streak. Y’all won the year before.
Must have really scarred you!
We hadn't beaten Auburn on our home field since moving the game out of Birmingham.

My submission is #2 dual threat Palmer(?) back in the 90's. Tim Bowens knocked Jay Barker Bama QB the out and in comes #2 and #2'd all over us. Good read below from the AP.
OXFORD, Miss. — David Palmer did everything but score a touchdown Saturday, leading No. 4 Alabama to a 19-14 victory over Mississippi.
Palmer had eight catches for 76 yards and had seven rushes for 38 yards. He was directly responsible for 168 of Alabama's 279 yards of offense, and also had five kick returns for 75 yards.
Palmer took several snaps at quarterback after Jay Barker left the game because of a shoulder injury in the second quarter and set up Alabama's only touchdown with a 54-yard pass to Kevin Lee.
"We put Palmer in at quarterback when it felt right," Alabama Coach Gene Stallings said. "He can make so many things happen. He's the best player I've ever seen or have coached."
Michael Proctor kicked four field goals for most of Alabama's scoring output. He had a career-best 53-yarder, a 49-yarder and a 45-yarder.
Alabama, 6-0-1 overall and 4-0-1 in the Southeastern Conference, led only 9-7 in the third quarter when Palmer threw to Lee, who caught the perfectly-placed pass over tight coverage at the Mississippi eight. Sherman Williams ran for a touchdown on the next play.
After Proctor kicked a 49-yard field goal against a stiff wind with 4:27 left, Ole Miss (4-3, 3-3) added a touchdown when Lawrence Adams threw 14 yards to Ta'Boris Fisher.
The loss snapped Ole Miss' nine-game winning streak at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and extended Alabama's unbeaten streak to 30 games, longest in the nation.
Barker, 23-0-1 as the Tide starter, left the game with 7:40 to play in the half after being sacked for by Rebel cornerback Johnny Dixon and 315-pound defensive tackle Tim Bowens...

I can remember Mailon Kent coming in the 1963 IB after Jimmy Sidle got injured early in the first quarter.
Auburn won 10-8.

Was Fred Talley the starting RB for Arky in 2002?
I've never seen a guy break so many long runs....every time I looked up, he was cutting back across field. Sheesh. They killed us.

You know, Palmer was the biggest scoring threat I have ever seen at Bama. To hold him to 0 td's with him taking snaps at qb is quite an accomplishment.
#2'd all over you.

Waited my whole life for college football playoffs. They finally come, my teams makes it and are facing an even bigger media darling tOSU, but they are starting a third string qb by the name of Cardale Jones against the vaunted Bama defense. Should be a walk in the park for Bama, right?

Ancient history. Danny White came off the bench for the injured Roger Staubach and ruined the Falcons in an NFL playoff game.

This is the only one for LSU that comes to mind. He ran over, around, and through us... all while it was about 32 degrees with a slight rain.

quote:I'll never forget that game. Knew we were in good hands for a while after that. Wilson was so good under Petrino.
When Auburn was starting to look like we could be great in 2010, we played Arkansas mid season. Ryan Mallet, the legend, got "Fairley'ed" early in the game that was close. Bobby P brought Wilson in and he commenced to burn our pitiful secondary to the ground.
