Sankey will probably set the SEC cap at 10million less than the B1G

a salary cap isnt worth the paper its written on. The big boys will always find a way to get money to the big guys.

Always have, always will

Can’t punish 3rd party deals unless you have a collective bargaining agreement w the athletes.

Sounds like a great way to make the ACC the best football conference.

This announcement refers to "revenue sharing" which is already capped at around $20 mil. It is my understanding that NIL is not considered revenue sharing.

Does anyone else see it that way?

Alabama doesn’t have enough money to even worry about it.

Kaitlyn DePoor made sure we all knew that the entire offseason

Explain that to me as though I was Powerman or Uga Alum.

Define 3rd party deals in this environment and;

With whom is the collective bargaining agreement is this environment?

3rd party being any entity that’s not the university.

Collective bargaining meaning union where if someone wants to play college ball they have to join and abide by whatever rules are agreed upon between union and university.

How in the hell is the BIG10 or anyone going to tell me I can't give a QB who ain't ever taken a snap in CFB $50 Million to come to my car lot and sign autographs if I want to? The courts have been abundantly clear - they can't.
