Got any receipts, if it’s every bama fan surely you could provide some proof

People talk about how USC would have dog walked us but two of our running backs and our qb went in the first round

Are those the same players who got dog-walked in Jordan-Hare Stadium the previous year, in 2003?

I told a bama fan that opinion was swaying on Deboer having the better staff than Saban's late coaching staffs.

One guy's response

quote:

Why would they do that. Anyone who knows Bama football knows Saban had trouble getting elite staff the last 2 or 3 years. Deboer better hope he has better staff because he is not Saban

This is a known fact.

Assistants were signing on for a year or two just to get the resume clout.

I still want to punch a certain WR coach in the taint for having one foot out the door all season.

Nall was so freaking bad he couldn’t parlay a backfield of first rounders, a line with two future all pros and a troupe of receivers that got a cup of coffee in the big time into any sort of production. He basically had to be relieved of his duties before the Tennessee game that year.

He can’t property be called the worst OC in Auburn history because Chad Morris happened, but he’s up there.

And we had the best scoring defense in the country.

"They don't got nuthin' on our defense" - Auburn players before the USC game the year before.

A,USC team full of Freshman and Sophomores (Leinart, Bush, White, Mike Williams) walks into Jordan-Hare and blanks #6 Auburn 23-0 and it wasn't even that close.

So yeah, Auburn next year would've SURELY beat a more talented seasoned USC team. SEC had no swag at all over USC during Carroll's run like they did over Ohio State or Oklahoma... Who USC routinely whipped more than the SEC did. So pls with the SEC was starting to show its dominance. USC was above the SEC and everyone else during that period.

What do the 2021-2023 coaching staffs have to do with a claim about the 2015 staff being one of the best all time?

Ask LSU and UGA how dominating wins in 2003 worked out for them in 2004.

No opponent after LSU in early September had the ball in the 4th quarter with a chance to take the lead against Auburn. The games were over early and Tubs ran out the clock. Bama pushed them in Tuscaloosa for a half but Auburn dominated the 2nd half.

I don’t know for sure that they’d have won. USC was talent rich as well. But as an Auburn fan posted earlier, it certainly would have been closer.

USC handily beat that V Tech team

Barn had the luck of playing UT twice with freshman QBs, I will give them credit for beating UGA but UGA should’ve beaten UT and therefore had another shot at Barn.

17-10 USC, I don’t think Jason Campbell would’ve done anything on that USC defense. USC would’ve loaded up on the run and I think USC would’ve had just enough to get by

the sec dominance had already begun. we just were forced to wait until 06 florida to blast OSU. if that game was never played noone would have believed florida would have won or especially destroyed them. i think the sec dominance was in force in 2004. i believe auburn would have won which is a change on my view 10 years ago. those backs were great

auburn didn't have an impressive season, that is why the voters and the computers did not give them a shot at the NC.

2004-Auburn (SEC)
9/4 vs. Louisiana-Monroe (5-6) W 31 0
9/11 @ *Mississippi State (3-8) W 43 14
9/18 vs. *Louisiana State (9-3) W 10 9
9/25 vs. Citadel (non-IA) W 33 3
10/2 @ *Tennessee (10-3) W 34 10
10/9 vs. Louisiana Tech (6-6) W 52 7
10/16 vs. *Arkansas (5-6) W 38 20
10/23 vs. *Kentucky (2-9) W 42 10
10/30 @ *Mississippi (4-7) W 35 14
11/13 vs. *Georgia (10-2) W 24 6
11/20 @ *Alabama (6-6) W 21 13
12/4 vs. *Tennessee (10-3) W 38 28

They played 6 teams with losing seasons,

one Double A team,

a 3-8 Ms. State, a 2-9 Kentucky, a 4-7 Mississippi, a 5-6 Arkansas,

2 teams with break even seasons,

played one good team twice, and finally,

they scheduled Louisiana Tech, Louisiana Monroe, & Citadel all in the same season. LT, LM, and Citadel all in the same season, damn.

Impressive season? I don't think so, and not many voters did either. They didn't earn shite and they didn't get shite.
