I really hope this is false.

Celebrating someones death because you were rivals in football would be absolutely absurd. There are lines. If a Gator fan celebrated Bobby Bowden dying, I'd slap the hell out of them. These are men with families who love them.

It was rolled by a few people just like there were a few who rolled it when Bama lost to someone 5 or 6 years ago(can't remember who) because it was posted from the Toomer cam.

Ah, I see. The university did it, if it actually happened at all. So we can blame all negativity carried out by UA fans on the university? Because that's a long, long list.

Coach Bryant was more than correct.........

“The old lessons (work, self-discipline, sacrifice, teamwork, fighting to achieve) aren’t being taught by many people other than football coaches these days. The football coach has a captive audience and can teach these lessons because the communication lines between himself and his players are more wide open than between kids and parents. We better teach these lessons or else the country’s future population will be made up of a majority of crooks, drug addicts, or people on relief.”

It's false, but I'll personally roll it when Nicky dies. Just to piss off Gumps and have another 35+ years of rumors.

My friend who was there at the time said it didn't happen. He did confirm a fair amount of paper might've been rolled that day, 'tho...

Wouldn't surprise me at all if it happened. The hatred Auburn people had for him would definitely make it a believable story

I remember. They also had a huge tub out there and they were bobbing for kittens. It was horrific.

Yes. It really happened, but of course the Auburn fans will deny it. Many of these posters denying it weren't even born, or are too young to have known.

Rednecks...

You have a point. The hatred and ignorance of some fans has come out over the years, that most normal people would think was improbable. Who would have thought that a fan would kill trees because of hatred ? Who would have thought that a fan would pull out his dick in a fast food restaurant and try to hump a drunk/passed out opposing fan ? Who would have thought a fan, who was a mother of young children, would get so drunk that she tried to fight an entire section of opposing fans ? Any thing is possible, but in this case it didn't happen.

You're a fricking idiot if you believe this. I was there. Didn't happen. It's a story that the typical Alabama fan believes (read:Harvey Updyke) so they can be a "victim"
