quote:Just a quick Google search said that the last Under Armour/Auburn deal was in 2015.
When Auburn renewed their contract with Under Armour and was given so many stock options I wonder how much they actually made off of those.
The stock peaked in 2015 at $53.78. It closed at $6.83 yesterday. So that $10M in stock is now about $1.4M.

Can't explain it, but there is something dissonant about the syrupy Auburn "fambly" monologue playing over images highlighting the Nike logo.
Not saying anything from a moral standpoint, just doesn't seem to fit Nike's brand

Nike shoes suck.
I don’t disagree with you, but UA has bad shoes also. I prefer New Balance.

Moving to Nike was a good move, but that video was cringe

By the way, does Auburn still play football?
Yes, and we've won a national championship more recently than Texas has.

Hope they don’t make many changes. The storm trooper uni is top 5 in all of sports.

Auburn's uniforms, colors and logo have always been great.

All you did was change "workers" to "children/slaves." Your point was political and not informative.

They aren’t changing the uni.
Aub fans would start a civil war if that happened

Auburn used to wear Nike shoes when they were with Russell if my memory serves me correctly. With Bo and Barkley having went there I’m surprised this didn’t happen sooner.

There are only 7 jump man schools in college football and Oklahoma is the only one in the SEC.

Ummmmmmm...no.
Florida is Jump Man.
Who gives a shite anyway. Jump Man is just Nike with the Jordan logo.
So, same as Nike.

can't wait for Carolina to move on from UA too - apparently our negotiating window with outside suppliers begins Jan 1 2026 -
hell I'd be fine with a Champion contract over Under Armour -

Tanner on Wednesday did not specifically say when official discussion would begin, but South Carolina and Under Armour are obligated to exclusively negotiate the terms of a renewal unless “they cannot agree on mutually satisfactory terms” by Jan. 1, 2026 (180 days before the expiration of their current deal), according to the contract. If both parties can’t come to an agreement by then, South Carolina can meet with other apparel companies to see about procuring a new deal after Jan. 1, 2026.

When it was signed in 2016, USC’s current 10-year deal was valued at $71.5 million (second-most valuable in the SEC and seventh-most valuable in the nation, according to school officials). While the value of Auburn’s deal with Nike has not been reported, Notre Dame and UA signed a deal in 2023 worth $10 million a year. Nike has deals with Michigan, Ohio State and Texas that pay those schools between $15 million and $17 million each annually.
