Auburn gymnast shatters both legs from a fall during competition.

Broke both legs and dislocated her knees on first pass during the floor exercise.
Hope she recovers quickly and fully. Tough as nails for being as calm as she was. Gymnastics has a way a chewing up it’s athletes.

Absolutely horrible.
I know God hears our prayers, and Samantha’s undoubtedly had many lifted on her behalf.
My thoughts are also with her family and teammates—that must have been a really tough situation to process.

And he mentioned her ankle. Lyn Rollins is a good play by play guy, but can really have some brain farts now and then.
I hate to see this for the young lady. They work just as hard, if not harder, than the guys and I don't think people give enough respect to that. They have the same demands on the their time and their bodies. I just hate to see this happen at anytime, but much less at this time of the year.
