I think that LSU fans are overvaluing Louisiana’s importance to this country. By a lot.

Not true at all.

As an example, San Antonio was on that list. Why? 5 Air Force Bases and an Army Post (Ft Sam Houston) that is headquarters for the 4th Army.

I cant imagine that Houston,Baton Rouge, and NOLA were not on it due to the industrial production and particularly gasoline/diesel. Throw in Beaumont and Lake Chuck and better than 50% of the nations fuels are refined here.

Every person from every county “knows” their county was on the “Russian nuke list”.

I know folks from
Tallahassee,
Aiken,
Bogalusa,
Soddy Daisy,
Pelham
and Tupelo

that say the same damn thing about how their city was strategic to America and “Wee wuz on the nukuler list buhcawse of it”.

Not to mention the strategic oil reserve with primary locations near the Houston, Lake Charles and Baton Rouge areas.

OP is a troll or an idiot, I’m thinking a little of both.

If Louisiana shut off the valves and closed the port, half the country (if not more) would be proper fricked.

Gulf of Mexico, Mississippi River, ports, supplies.
I am not a history major by far but wasn't Grants campaign down the Mississippi more important to the overall economy of the south than the burning of Atlanta? Atlanta to the Atlantic was more about demoralizing the south whereas the Miss valley was a vital supply line.

Atlanta was not the primary hub of the south but was one of them. New Orleans was the largest city in the south at the time. Richmond, Chattanooga, Mobile, Vicksburg and New Orleans were just important if not more vital.

They (UGA) fans will crow about anything. It is a self worth, insecure type complex.
They wonder why this board is so hard on them and claim it's jealousy, saltiness when it is not. They bring it on themselves. Arrogance will always be UGA downfall.
