I like the ones ranking the schools cheerleaders better.

Georgia at 4th. I bet they have Clemson up there somewhere too.

They just never seem to have a consistent philosophy. If it is atmosphere, great, LSU makes sense. But Clemson, UGA, Ohio State, etc. over UF doesn't.

If it is history, great, PSU makes sense. But again, Arky, LSU, etc. don't have the Big 10 prestige (though admittedly there is value there).

If it is quality, then cool, Arky makes sense, but then UM and TAMU don't.

If you combine them all, Arky, Clemson, etc. are still outliers.

What stadium should be higher than us, just curious? All I see is a couple that might be. If you take a second to read their explanation, Sanford's ranking has nothing to do with size or loudness.

I never know what they are basing it on. The Swamp at #10 seems really low.

Threads like these get people so worked up (not you, dhuck20; just borrowing your response).
If 100 people responded in this thread, we'd likely see 100 different lists.
Everyone thinks his university's stadium is the best.
Not sure why anyone even takes the time to argue; it's all about opinion.

I do to. But, fyi, they had us #1 with the following write-up:

Opened: 1924
Capacity: 92,542
2012 Attendance: 92,626 (7th nationally)
Be it the vast and unique tailgating menu or Richter Scale-registering fans, few places in the nation can send chills down your spine like Tiger Stadium. As one of the loudest and most rabid atmospheres in the nation, LSU boasts one of the most daunting home-field advantages in college football — especially at night. Les Miles has three perfect home seasons and is 50-7 in Death Valley overall during his eight seasons as head coach. A $70 million renovation is underway to push Tiger Stadium’s capacity to 100,000, only furthering a hallowed reputation as one of the nation’s top venues. And, honestly, how many venues have a real live Bengal Tiger roaming the sidelines?

Yeah, I'm a bit suspicious this writer hasn't actually been in these stadiums at game time.

I'm sure he's been to Tiger Stadium. I mean roaming = riding around in a 10x8 cage right?

Kinda surprised that Sanford is ranked above places like Ben Hill Griffin, BDS, South Bend, etc but ill take it.

Because our's is prettier. But seriously.

Also don't see what's so special about Beaver Stadium, it's big, yeah...

The stadium itself is meh but it has some of the best sight lines of any stadium.

This list puts a lot of emphasis on the views and sightlessness IMO

Curious, how many of these have y'all been to? So many in the SEC, so probably a lot. I've only been to 4 myself.

If I'm not dead by the time we schedule UT, looking forward to Neyland.
