Chambliss was denied three times by the ncaa but was granted a TRO by a judge in Mississippi. Go figure .

the semantics of it all for chambliss avoid the fact he didn't redshirt because of tonsilitis.........he was beaten out and missed a week of fall camp. but y'all do y'all and act like this is some great story for a 6th year qb. the other guys are just trying to get their now established 5th year AFTER the NCAA said you have no more eligibility after year 4, then changed it to 5.

LSU currently has no former professional players on it's football roster or officially signed with LSU.
Other schools do, though. And other schools attempted to get the former Ole Miss' players as well, including Ole Miss.
Why again is LSU the only one being discussed?

If they did then they would show a history of being on probation.
It just isn't as big of a deal in Arkansas compared to other SEC states. If it was then high school football would not be inferior to basketball.

Nobody cares what I think, but I think both schools are an embarrassment to what the spirit of college athletics should be. Oh and Texas Tech as well. There, I discussed both schools. Feel better?

No rules was broken until AFTER the fact when a rule was created. Many LSU fans applaud the rule against NFL players returning to college, but there will always be people like you.

This is about high school football. It was good from the 70s to the 90s but it changed at the turn of the century. Then around 2010-2012, Ironically the time Petrino was fired, high school football began a faster decline. High school basketball has for awhile been a bigger deal and is producing better college prospects.
The passion for razorback football is still strong when it comes to the fans.
They just aren't as overzealous about it than other fans when it doesn't bother them if rules are bent a little to achieve more success.
