Not sure about that, but I went to a public high school in LR 30+ years ago and we were having spring practices back then.

The problem is that the school is in the corner of NWA, so it's only close to Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas. Those states don't put out some good talent, but not a shitload of it, and most are gobbled up by OU and Nebraska. All are former Big 8 schools and Arkansas has no past affiliation with the Big 8.

Missouri is of course an anchor, but TX, LA, OK, and MS are all states that produce excellent CFB prep talent, and TN seems to have gotten better in recent years.
Because we are all playing catch up within those other states. Not sure what is hard to understand about that. Each of those states except for Missouri and Louisiana have multiple P5 football schools that we are battling. Unless we have a unique connection we are behind the 8 ball to begin with.
I would guess that our average over the last ten years is somewhere around 25-30 in recruiting rankings. It is not like that is terrible just bad by SEC standards.

I won't lie, I don't get to interact with Arkansas fans a lot IRL and after so many years on this board it can be hard to separate the posters on this board from other fans with the schools that are farther away. The few Arkansas I know personally are actually (mostly) humble and good people. I even went to HS with 2 former players of y'alls, Dylan Breeding and Maudrecus Humphrey, and despite the way Drec left y'all theyre both really good people.

I could say the same for most of the SEC grads I know, some people just get a little more courage when behind a computer screen.

I agree. Most people on this board would probably be surprised how easy going and easy to get along with I am in real life

I don't think you're as bad as people think you are.
You just like to come here to talk about sports, it's just people who can't have a discussion or too up tight in life who bitch, that make this place easy to troll and get into arguments where the ahole comes out.

You're completely right. I definitely egg people on and say things I know will get a reaction though
but like you said, even when just trying to have a normal discussion its near impossible to not have somebody try and talk shite or argue. I've literally agreed with people on here and they still argued with me
