Haha Bangin' in the Rock is coming back, but I usually don't feel unsafe in LR either. Nothing like Memphis, Greenville MS, or St. Louis.

But that might just be familiarity since I'm from Central AR.

It might be. I have no issues with Stl. There are plenty of amazing things to do and not run into issues. This website adds a lot of shite on to Stl that isnt true (because Mizzou isnt SEC and they are SJW).

Is this actually a thing? I know people like to troll the NWA vs LR theme but do people really feel that unsafe in LR. I split time in Central Arkansas and for the most part never have felt that way. Obviously there are some bad parts.

I only pointed out the Health Department. It is pretty sketchy. I have no beef with LR other than that.

Most locations with "ville" in its name is probably too MAGA for top tier recruits that can go anywhere.

I try not to delve into politics but there are very few MAGA supporters up here. You might see the occasional confederate flag on a pickup but they are usually coming from Lincoln or Elkins.

Fayetteville is full of young professionals, dirty hippies, and college students.

We have a smattering of panhandlers and homeless people (who I think Oklahoma is sending over) but that is because Fayetteville is full of bleeding hearts that try to save the planet.

We have a ton of hispanics up here but you will see some Marshallese, Indians, Pakistanis, and Asians.

Largest Marshallese population in the world right? Including the Marshal Islands?

Well, I have been around there a bunch before and never felt that way. It wasn't just posed to you. I was honestly asking because maybe a majority of people do feel that way. Not trying to say LR is some great, safe city when looking at other comparable cities. Just never really had any issues.

It's up there. We have somewhere between 4 and 6k.

NWA is hardly tiny. The metro is almost the size of LR. Tulsa is close by and filled with Hog fans.

It's not currently on the list of fastest growing communities, but it has been for several if the past ten years.

Still, not a whole lot of D1 prospects coming out of the area.
I actually really enjoy NWA, but even had I been a good enough athlete to play collegiately I couldn't see myself giving Arkansas much consideration unless it was my best offer or track was my sport. And unless you grew up in arkansas, or near by, or grew up a fan then I think most people would feel the same. No offense, but everywhere else Arkansas is kind of an afterthought that doesn't get brought up much outside of gameweek with y'all.

Bert coming in and shitting all over the coaches from his biggest out of state recruiting base was a massively stupid thing to do.

It'll take time for Morris to reverse that damage.

That whole ordeal was dumb from multiple perspectives. It sure hurt Kliff's feelings.

This could be said from an Arkansas fan talking about Auburn too though.

Outside of sports, I bet Fayetteville is more known than Auburn, AL. Just saying.

Improve the culture, brand, and hire better recruiters.

Truth. Is there even an industry or major company located near Auburn?

People can hate on Fayetteville all they want but we have multiple Fortune 500 companies right down the road.

And we are done here.

Even, at the time, supporters of the big fellow knew that was an insanely stupid thing to do. I was one of those that was behind Bert and I knew it was stupid as hell.

Now, before we start shoveling dirt on the Arkansas grave, Little Rock is seeing a bounce back in turning out decent talent. A Little Rock team is regarded as the 7th best in the country going into next season.

Maybe if we don't pee on the foreheads of Texas coaches and tell them its raining we might get more talent from there. And so far we aren't.

Sometimes its a good thing to run the system that the majority of the high schools in your state run. Well believe it or not Arkansas was one of the first states to go with the power spread offense at the high school level. From here on out we are recruiting players that our state produces.

We know the potential for a top 5 team is there. Hell we were a top 5 team not that long ago. Next season is going to be rough. After that I am cautiously optimistic.

I'm surprised Queensbury is still employed by the raider rash.

Have a good friend who is a Tech grad and he was all but rooting for Texas in that last game of the year in hopes of Kliff being fired.

There's some truth to it. I grew up in the Sherwood/Jacksonville area my first 16 years and having visited Little Rock recently after moving out of state nearly a decade ago, it's much much worse than it used to be.
