Every game is obviously Arkansas's Super Bowl or so I've been told. Let's just have a fun frick you game then. Don't need to use the word rivalry.

Arkansas finished that season unranked and 7-5. OU finished 11-2 and ranked in the top 10. It was a bit of a mismatch, but the Sooners won 10-3. That was back when teams still played real defense.

Hands down…this rivalry can break college football, end of November game with the winner heading to Atlanta, the 2025 inaugural game will be billed as the Game of the Century, there is a lot of bad blood here and pure hate, these fan bases can’t stand the sight of each other, what am I missing?

With the move to the SEC for OU this is actually a game that needs to be an annual game given the proximity of the two schools.
Obviously you can tell from this thread the sparks are there for a pretty good fan rivalry. Arkie fans already hold OU in contempt and OU fans will soon notice. (OU fans in eastern Oklahoma already do)...
I'll also comment that there has always been a pretty good contingent of Oklahoma HS students who attend Arkansas. Arkansas and Kansas are probably the two state schools that get most of the Oklahoma HS kids who attend out of state public schools.

South Arkansas sits on lithium resources two miles deep, one of the largest in the world. That will be needed to fuel EVs soon in the future. However trying to extract it is still an issue.

Wait, I just read through six pages of Arky word vomit talking about how Mizzou-Arkansas would never be a rivalry because muh history, and that Arkansas has waaaay too many important rivalries to possibly have room for Mizzou.

It's interesting that these two teams haven't met more frequently than they have. On the surface, this should pack more punch than the Missouri series.

Sorry nobody cares about Mizzou. We continue to forget you are in the SEC but that’s easy to do when your athletic department is by far the worst in the SEC.
