I was at the game and it was absolutely freezing and windy. Matt Jones was a freshman and couldn't ever get it going

Arkansas is Okie St. 2.0…we’ll boat race the hogs 9 of 10 games, you might pull off an upset victory every blue moon.

That’s not a rivalry. But it’s cute Arkansas fans will call us their “rivals” lol

Interesting, that sounds like every SEC West school that's played OU this decade.

Oklahoma isn't on the talent level of Georgia, Alabama or LSU. It is a more winnable game each year.

Man you arky fux sticks sure have gotten cocky …. The last time we played you had 69 total yard in a bowl game ……

I believe that was the year 2000 before spread O ( I miss those days). I’m not sure OU had many more yards though. All that said, OU will be another Auburn in the SEC-middle of the pack with a shot at competing ever 3-4 years.

Wait, I just read through six pages of Arky word vomit talking about how Mizzou-Arkansas would never be a rivalry because muh history, and that Arkansas has waaaay too many important rivalries to possibly have room for Mizzou. But here you are pathetically begging OU to be your rival, a team that Arkansas has played a total of three times since 1926.

Another Mizzou fan posting their hatred for Arkansas. I still don’t get the hate. We don’t hate you guys. Of course, I’m speaking for myself.

Wrong. I like Arkansas. I just think it's ridiculous that a few your posters act like OU is their peer and should be a rival, but Mizzou is somehow beneath them.

I don’t own any of these posters or am responsible for what they say. I don’t know hardly any fellow Razorback fans who consider OK a rival. We generally hate Texas around here. Also, there hasn’t been enough games with Mizzou to even consider them a rival.

right here. The two most embarrassing stats from the bert, chaggy years were the fact that not only did we lose to a bunch of g5 schools but that we also had a losing record to you guys up north. I can deal with a loss to TAMU, LSU, bama but a loss to Missouri is unacceptable. You guys have historically been beneath us before the 2010s, and it appears things are finally going back to normal.

I like the OU matchup more because a lot of us that live on the western/NWA side of Arkansas live on the OK border and know tons of OU fans.

Norman also becomes the closest school to Fayetteville. It will become a bigger rivalry than Missouri in year 1.

Couple summers ago, I was at the lake house in eastern OK and decided to take a drive over into nearby Arkansas and look around. There were hog banners on every street light in town. I sat there eating a burger and looking at Hog stuff everywhere, thinking, "why aren't we in the same conference? That's kinda dumb."

Nope you can ask my friend who is an NFL scout and GM for a CFL team and he said Oklahoma talent level isn't on the same level as those three.

So you know more than an NFL scout that has been in the game for 40 Years? Keep laughing because it's true.

Do most Arkansas fans seriously think Arkansas leaving the SWC in the early 1990s allowed OU to build its football success?

And I thought our state’s public education was poor.
