All this rivalry off season talk has me thinkin.
I am an NWA resident & have always had OK acquaintances. I deal with them more than my SEC bros.
And I absolutely have an unnatural hatred for them. Rivalry here we come!

It definitely has potential due to the sheer numbers of OU fans in NWA and western Arkansas. Close road trip for all sports. Closer than Arkansas has ever had in a conference opponent.

Tulsa tv stations still cover Arkansas sports. Ft Smith stations cover OU.

You just don't create a rivalry it has to happen naturally it's like giving yourself a Nic name it's just cringe as frick and I could give two shite's about Arkansas never thought about them ever.

You may be right, but I have a good time busting balls with my OK people. We are neighbors & it just now finally happened that we can play each other in conference. I'm looking forward to it.

Fort Smith isn't NWA. I rarely see any in actual NWA. OU will be a mid-tier SEC team, unless we frick around and go through a shite stretch again the rivalry will probably be on their end.

This has the potential to be the premier rivalry in the conference by 2025 with both teams peaking, National Championship implications involved, it would be bigger than the Beatles

I’ve been to games in Fayetteville. It’s great. They need to play often in football. Easy travel to both places.
