I have watched a lot of high school football in Arkansas for close to two decades. I have seen Little Rock teams that had 6-5 or 6-7 players for example with hands on hips just wasting away on the sidelines, never played. I have seen poorly coached teams lose to inferior opponents that had no business losing to.
It is always a bout coaching and the community. If you don't have either then you are screwed. But hope is coming with Bryant and North Little Rock winning 7A state titles these last few years. A new Little Rock high is opening up real soon and they will be coached by Daryl Patton. I believe they will very good with potential recruits.

I've always said Clemson sucks, so you're not far off. Plz stop saying that though and go to an ACC board.

Arkansas produces like one 4 star recruit every year. Doesn’t seem like a recipe for success.
Even so, our recruiting is typically on par with Ole Miss, MSU and South Carolina and better than Missouri and Kentucky. No reason for us to be as bad as we have been lately.

Let's not ignore the fact that Ole Miss and Miss State have been cheating the last decade and have had more in state talent than normal benefiting them.

Not that much more. Now with larger states then yes the gap is bigger.

You don't necessary have to be in a state full of talent
Yea, you kinda do...that’s the point of a “sleeping giant”. Think Miami & LSU.

You only need to sign 25 players a year in the SEC

Arkansas is still surrounded by states with a lot of talent.
Which are full of Major in state schools for that Talent and I already pointed that out.

Go out and scout who you want, evaluate the recruit and if he is good enough then let him commit.

Miami and LSU are not the same. Miami has no fan support and bad facilities. They have major competition in the state of Florida. LSU is the opposite and have no competition within the state. LSU is consistent at a high level and Miami hasn't done shite in 20 years. Miami needs a lot going it's way to be a sleeping giant.
Yes and many of those instate schools can't get them all such as in Texas. So that leaves a lot for the out of state schools. Arkansas is a beneficiary as they have a huge alumni base in Dallas with a lot of students from the area. That helps with recruiting

And where exactly do they pull recruits from? NWA is in bfe. Beautiful country but still isolated.
