I'd love to play Tennessee every year. Who doesn't love a conference rent-a-win?

well of the other 10, one bitches about it a lot more than the others would you agree with that?

Those other 9 schools don't have to play a cross-divisional game against what has arguably been the best SEC program over the last 20 years.

No its not a game worth watching actually...

If anything, its a shame LSU has to play A&M in the morning instead of prime time because some jackass at ESPN thinks they need to kiss Saban's arse

Not the case. UT plays Gaylor at 7. They didn't want to split the TX. Viewers in Prime time. $$$ homey

I view Tennessee the same way I view Nebraska. Their glory days were back when many programs weren't on the same level they are today. Back then also, not every team was on TV so teams that were on top could say "come to us and play on TV all the time" (ND ruled because of this) Now, everyone is on TV.

Not saying they won't have an occasional good year, but the days of being a consistent top-15 force will never happen again.

LSU should have to play UF every year. They have played against the Big 6 far less times than any other member of the Big 6.

They will continue to bitch though eventhough throughout history they have the weakest strength of schedule of the Big 6.

You should talk to the SEC. I don't think anyone has argued LSU wants to play Georgia and Tennessee less frequently than we do now.

Question for Tennessee and Alabama fans...what makes the rivalry important to you? Where does the "annual game" aspect measure up to other factors that make the game special?

My biggest bitch bout having to play Fla every yr is that there will be times when LSU mite have to beat them twice to get to the NCG. Fla. will be regaining that point soon enough, if not this yr. When exactly will bama have to worry bout beating UT twice to get to the NCG? I could care less bout the "rivalry" beyond the fact that it makes the rest of the league dance to the strings of one team when it comes to league schedules.

You know what would be hilarious. If you bandwagon fans got your wish to play Tenn every year 5 years down the road. Tenn gets their shite together and starts just beating our arse. Bama gets Florida every year and Muschamp just collapses and Florida becomes a cupcake.

That would make me fricking laugh to no end.

This. It isn't about Florida at all
then have your AD vote for 9 SEC games like Saban has re quested.

See, Bama is already trying to fix things. Calm the crying down, the Boss is working on it for you little children.

You've played in the Swamp a total of 2 times in 13 years with no plans to go back anytime soon.

And nothing of value was lost. The last time Alabama played in the swamp, they blew Florida off the field.

That's fine. Go to 9 games--with no permanents. Rotate all 3 of those Eastern Division games for equity in scheduling.
