the reason LSU fans are mad is because UT kinda sucks at football.

scared of UF seems to have been the correct answer.

What does acknowledging that Tenn. sucks have anything to do with being scared of Florida?

Are LSU fans more jealous of the Tenn - Bama Rivalary...
Or are they more afraid of playing UF every year?
Not sure why they hate the TSIO so much.
I love playing Florida every season. It's one of my favorite games each year. But the perception that Bama receives preferential treatment from the conference is only growing stronger.

I, for one, am very jealous of not being able to play Tennessee's total shithouse team every year.

FOR NOW. What the hell makes you think that this suckage Tennessee is going through right now will last forever? You LSU fans are some of the most short-sighted pricks I have ever come across. This is what I picture in my mind when I see an LSU fan whining about their game with Florida:

This question reminds me of another question, Is it farther to New York or by bus?

Tenn. doesn't have a natural recruiting base. They are going to suck for a long time.

Im 1 of the few LSU fans that are glad we play UF every year. Most of the time, its 1 of the top teams in the east vs 1 of the top teams in the west. Its without a doubt my favorite game every year besides the Bama-LSU game.

They didn't have a natural recruiting base in the 1990s either, yet Fulmer was able to successfully recruit players from all over America to Knoxville. Oklahoma doesn't have a natural recruiting base either, they have to go into Texas to get their recruits. Give Tennessee a good coach like Gruden or whatever and they can successfully recruit in Georgia as well as all over America.

There is far too much parity now. Why are you scared* of not playing a lackluster program and having a game that you'll win 75% o the time.
What the hell makes you think that this suckage Tennessee is going through right now will last forever?
Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Florida and Alabama are all getting better athletes out of the state of Georgia than Tennessee is. Hell, Florida State and South Carolina probably are as well. That gravy train is no more and will most likely continue to be that way.
*denotes how spectacularly stupid one must be to think one is making a good point when using that word.

its not about how good for bad Tennessee is
its about how the scheduling of the SEC is jacked as frick and one of the main reasons is keeping third tier rivalries that nobody really gives a crap about
I know, I know tradition

Its not about playing Florida every year...its about playing other teams from the conference

I was asked this same question concerning Alabama in 2006. You know what my answer was? I said Alabama was only one good coach away from returning to prominence. The same can be said for Tennessee. They lack a natural recruiting base, yes, but you forget that they have ALWAYS lacked a natural recruiting base and yet still managed to be successful. Tennessee can recruit nationally, they have always been able to do that. They just need a coach who can bring in the recruits. Kiffin proved that Tennessee can still pull in elite talent.

Under Saban, Alabama is 7-0 (1.00) against Tennessee and Kentucky, but 4-2 (.667) against Florida and Georgia. Bama is 33.33% more likely to lose to UF/UGA than UK/Tenn. I can see why Bama would fight so hard to avoid Florida and Georgia.

Times are different. Much more competition in the SEC now.
