Just dropped a dime on that last pass.

I’ll say it again. Arch is going to be a problem for the SEC next year.

He’s grown a lot this year. He’s looking really good. Poised.

That said, Cooper looks stupid in his cowboy hat. Cameras keep showing him.

He appears to be a competent QB, not a game changing generational talent.

I don’t know…he is making plays when they need it most. He is accurate with his passes and running when no one is open. His decision making looks really good.

Have you learned nothing from us? Many of us were saying the same thing about Nussmeier last year

I can name a few games where they needed him and he did not though. He has limitations that I don’t think he’ll be able to avoid. Not to say he won’t be a good QB, but a game changer. I doubt it.

I remember when Peyton and Eli were in college and Archie got more air time than the cast of Friends. Wore a hat and glasses that made him look like Woody Allen.

And you might be right. But he also could be putting it together. He played in a relatively weak private school hs league. He had a long way to go. Michigan is not a great team, but they are very solid and Arch looked good. Only time will tell but he sure looked the part tonight.

He literally changed a game today.

Nice play on words there lol but you know what I mean. Anyone can change a singular game.

I get what you're saying. But, our turnaround this season was a direct result of his progression as a QB.

The defensive regression was very odd. Did you guys ever figure out what caused that?

The reasons are no longer employed in Austin.

Have to imagine Texas goes all in on the offensive line and a couple playmakers. If I'm cam Coleman that might be the play to make.

It was never a mystery. PK struggles to tie in secondary to his front. He needed help at Washington from Jimmy Lake. He needed Gary Patterson to come in and help his coaches sort things out a few years ago. Texas lost DB coach Blake Gideon last year who became GTs DC and then replaced him with a 70 year old. By midseason our secondary coaching was completely exposed. We had plenty of athletes back there.

Muschamp can handle every level of the defense in ways PK just can’t. PK is also such an introvert that he doesn’t have a very deep Rolodex when he has to replace a coach. Muschamp knows everybody.

Only if Sark manages to grab a couple elite O-line out of the portal. I'm not sold on what we have right now progressing much during the off season.
