Kelly is a good coach. But everyone in the SECW has a good coach, so nothing is really changing as far as the West landscape is concerned. Not sure why LSU fans think he's such a game changer or why other fans think he's a subpar hire. Anyone who thinks either is probably just a troll.

I was meh about the hire at first. But he's been very successful everywhere he's been and he's a definite improvement over what we've had the last 15 years, so I'll give him a chance.

I am good with it. Personally I would have liked to have spoken with Billy Napier but there are too many egos in Louisiana to consider that as a possibility.

People here do say some dumb shite. LSU wasn't gonna even come close to what USC gave Riley. No SEC program would do that. But people here act like Riley went to USC at a discounted rate. They could have hired Donald Duck and they would be shouting "Homerun". I've read over and over,"this would have been my first choice but I didn't think he was available". But then you see Bilichik and Saban and others on their list. But what else can the say. Just bend over take it tell yourself you like it.
