I never thought the AP would be more accurate than the coaches poll.

Well this makes a lot more sense than the coaches poll.

Lost to a Top 20 team by one point (miserable but still) and completely stop receiving votes.

they really are so much better than the rest, that i actually think that they could win the NC and never throw another pass for the rest of the year

Honestly once you get past about #12 or so, it's just a whole sea of interchangeable mediocrity that can be labeled as "overrated" at any moment.

This is a better poll that the coaches poll. TCU definitely deserved to be in the top 10 above Wisconsin who hasn't played any good teams.

I see 2 schools on the list that have 2 wins against current ranked teams.

Notre Dame just has to avoid disaster and they jump about 10 teams in a week.

I still think it was a little too much of a jump for UGA. I would be more comfortable with 9-10.

If Notre Dame isn't a disaster like they were last year (and they don't look like one) they will probably finish in the top 20 this year.

It's not that I think they're that special, I don't think they are, it's their schedule is bad. I only see three maybe four more games that are possible losses/toss ups, and the one I lean more to a loss to them, Southern Cal hasn't looked that special yet this year.
