Not SEC related, but first time since 2011 that Clemson is not pre-season ranked in AP Poll.

That was the one thing that jumped out at me. I wonder how warm Dani’s seat is if they underperform this year.

Thanks for playing. While we're at it, wasn't LSU ranked in the top 10 this time last season? Today, Brian Kelly is helping LSU lead the SEC and the nation in football welfare.

Polls shouldn’t be released until November.

I don't see how this would help really.

I think the bigger issue is who gets to vote in them.

Because history repeats itself. And these lessons are never really learned. A passage of Biblical proportions tells us that "expectations not met will make the heart grow weary.

This year's top 10 will never disappoint. The only question is: for whom will the bell toll?

End of an era

It would be terrible if Lsu loses to an unranked Clemson team at home with gameday in attendance at Death Valley

Arkansas plays the most top 25 teams but followed closely by Kentucky and Texas. Of course it makes a difference if you are not in the top 25…because Texas can’t play Texas. Missouri plays the most teams inside the top 10.
