He was the qb for my team in highschool. Guy was untouchable to my slow arse. I got juked every day by him. Plus I would have been killed if I actually tackled him in practice.
I think the guys we played against were Cecil the diesel, Patrick ramsey, jack hunt, and tommy banks.

I played ball against Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Brett Farve, Ladanian Tomlinson, Randy Moss, and Hines Ward. Got to meet a ton of guys at the pro bowl. I also played with Ed Reed and Terrell Suggs.

Played with and against lots of other guys who played college ball, more in basketball than football as I recall. Edmund Lawrence was a roundball player who made it to the Globetrotters for several years. John Rudd was another basketball player who played with the New York Knicks for a while. Zack Mitchell played for the New York Football Giants. Gordy Glaser was a pitcher who made it to the bigs with the reds for a while. Quite a few other teammates and foes made it to the minors. Brad Davis was probably the best athlete I competed against at any level(AAU). He played 15 years in the NBA and was the first Mav. to have his jersey retired in Dallas.

Didnt play with any stars in HS but I did play in a pickup basketball game at the LSU rec center with Randy Moss(not sure what he was doing at LSU back then and didnt know who he was at the time), Ronnie Henderson, Randy Livingston and Roman Rubchenko. We were obviously undefeated in the ~10games we played. This was like in 1995. Oh, and Moss was as good or better than the others listed.
You must be my age. Master P used to always bring guys in to play at the Rec. Kerry Kittles, Ron Mercer, Moss...those are the ones I can remember but there were others. My boy Donald should have been playing at LSU but had grade issues, but one day he and Kerry Kittles went back and forth dunking and scoring on each other, it was pretty cool.

I played with Brandon Jacobs at Assumption High. I'm a year older then Brandon. I remember when I saw him the first time as a freshman, I asked my friend, damn how many times did this dude fail!
He was a monster in high school. At 6'4 235 it was funny watching opposing defenders try to tackle him. I actually felt sorry for a few of them. Dude was & still is a mack truck!

I hate admitting this. I played against Terry Roybiskie...Senior. Yeah, I'm f**king old.
He was a beast back in the day. He played for Second Ward, which I think is West St. John now. They were defending 1A champs with a 20-something game winning streak, and I played for Ridgewood, a little all-white private school in Metairie, that finished second in our district, behind Port Sulphur but ahead of John Curtis, whom we had beaten 13-12. Yeah, I know, ancient history.
On the Thursday before the bi-districts (that's what they used to call the first round) Louisiana Gridweek, a weekly sports-related newspaper that was the Bible for La. football, had his picture on the cover calling him the #1 prospect in the state and a "must-get" for LSU. We took a long bus ride to Edgard, La., (I'm still not positive where it is) and they came out in these mismatched uniforms (it was kind of sad, some guys had white helmets, some yellow, some blue, just randomly distributed, all had the same jerseys but a few guys had pants that didn't match) and they kicked the shite out of us 40-0 on the way to another State Title. I came within an arm-length of Roybiskie as I missed the tackle on one of his two punt returns for touchdowns.
Anyway he went on to sign with LSU, have a decent though not spectacular collegiate career and both play and coach in the NFL. I, in the meantime, did neither.

Played juco baseball and summer tournaments against a lot of the SEC's best. Basketball and football, not so much. 2a academy ball doesn't exactly turn out the studs.
