played with Joe Delaney. AFC rookie of the year with the Kansas City Chiefs.
I was a fan of Dooley's when he was at LaTech. Now I can't get the way he handled himself after the LSU game out of my head.
I hope it works out for him. I am certainly pulling for any kid from Haughton.

This isn't the same 1 or 2 games into the playoff team. Not saying they will be in the Dome, but have best team I've seen at Haughton and I was around in '77 when we won the title and 78 when we almost won it.

Slow down ole tiger. Until Haughton has a defense that resembles the Marston days, they ARE a 1 or 2 games into the playoff team. Yea, they are playing better defense this year, so we will see. But I can tell you that this team doesn't have near the talent that the Haughton team from 77 had (only 4 players went both ways). Also, I have watched Dak play the last 3 years and no one is disputing the kid's talent. He just DOES NOT fit into the system that LSU runs.
Copy Cat. He saw Miles do that once against Auburn.

I remember a lot of people doubting the skills of Stevan Ridley during his recruitment.

Just curious as to how many passes vs. LaTech did Lee throw away because of lack of pass protection (receiver not through running his route) or how many were drops. :dunno:

LSU got on Delaney late. He was waiting to see where two of his friends were going to land and when NSU offered them, he decided to go there.

Also, he played wide receiver at Haughton, not running back.
You mean to tell me that the sky isn't falling?
McCoy transferred to Texas Southern. I saw him play against ULM. He moved like he had his shoelaces tied together. Rickey Dixon was also on the team. Wasn't even their best receiver. This on a 1-AA school. ULM won 58-0.

Yea, I think they are working hard to get good info.
I think getting Morris Claiborne has helped the coaches forget about Janzen Jackson also.

the show today was very poorly done. It appeared that everyone was unprepared and they just winged it. I have seen some of the other states, and I was looking forward to seeing their selection for best high school rivalry, best high school coach, etc. Also, go over the key dates on LSU schedule. When discussing some of LSU's notable players, no mention of one Bert Jones. I never heard one mention of one of the country's top 1-AA powers, McNeese State. I could go on, but you get the picture.

If I remember correctly, his rating was based on raw talent and potential. He was supposed to be a work in progress.

Ross, I've been coming to this sight for a lot longer than Jan 08, I just hadn't felt the need to post useless thoughts like some of the others on here. But Ross, you're one of the ones whose opinion I respect.
