I did not play with a professional player that I know of.

But for anybody from Baton Rouge, I did play on one of the BREC teams with Lil Romeo.

Didn't play with a big star but played with Reggie Coleman, who started on the offensive line for Tennessee in his final two seasons. He played for the Vols from 98-2003 ib with redshirt freshman year. He was a 6-6 monster, bear-hugged me and lifted me in the air after catching a 2-point conversion...but we were down by 20

I played with Major Applewhite, Travis Minor, and Donnie Jones (I still can't believe that mofo is in the NFL...I remember him shanking punts for like 20 yds). We did shut down Kevin Faulk, unfortunately not so much when we played Tommy Banks.

Also Basil Shabazz in Baseball and Football before I moved back to West Monroe.

I played at Ruston High School in the mid 90's with Kenny Wright (DB) and Michael Green (DB) both went on to Northwestern State and then to the NFL (Michael was Mr. Irrelevant in 2000). Both are still playing, Kenny with Clevland and Michael with Washington. Patrick Ramsey was also on our team as a back-up qurterback. I was a center and my 1 athletic claim to fame is that I snapped the ball to him a few times when he would get in the game or practice with the 1st team O.

Ahh ok. I thought you were at LHS all 4 years

Hell, if it weren't for financial problems and me fricking my ankle up, I could've been playing a professional sport right now

i was on the HS soccer team with Josh Scobee, kicker for the Jags.

i don't think he even attempted football until midway through his junior year, but he was immediately sending kick-offs out of the endzone.
