No doubt Arkansas killed the transfer portal this year but you guys have the guaranteed gametime that other schools don't. Pittman did a good job except for the Franks pickup. He's a locker room moral killer, if I've ever seen one. But HEY when your down and out you gotta swing for the fence!!!

Id argue Lorenzo Lingard was the best individual signed and that UF did better as a team. Lingard, Shorter, Pouncey and Cox alone win imo.

Congrats? I guess...

I mean y'all got a bunch of guys who couldn't start in places like Florida and the ACC and sun belt.

I'm sorry that I made you feel bad <3. But I'm sure Lane will have you raking in the recruits and ahead of Arkansas in no time.

Well he was playing behind a probable first round pick in Kenneth Murray.

People may scoff at the CB Jacobs coming from Arkansas State but he was on the Thorpe Award watch list before the season, but he tore his ACL against Georgia I believe. Should be a very good player for us.

No idea how good Kelly is, highly recruited but got buried behind the monster DL Clemson has stockpiled.

Levi Draper was needed because bumper pool couldn't get off the field, same with scoota Harris. It is a huge drop when they leave. All five players are needed for depth and experience concerns.

Mullen and UF probably? But on a relative need basis, probably not. Arkansas got pretty healthy upgrades and needed them more.

Feleipe Franks - Flat out sucks. Sorry but someone had to say it.

And a LB from Oklahoma - where defense is optional.

A DE from Clemson - Good get, I guess?

Are we pretending that Feleipe Franks is a good QB now?

He's way better than what they had which is why they went after him. Franks is who he is at this point, but you dont have to watch too much Arkansas football from last year to see the extreme need for someone to come in and take over at QB this year who is somewhat competent. They were down to the point giving a walk on looks last season. Franks isn't a good QB, but it's a massive upgrade from where Arkansas is coming from.

Id argue he has a cannon and can throw a dangerous deep ball. Briles' offense is simple enough that he should be ok. The threat of a deep ball will open it up. Our WR corps is nasty AF and we have Raheem Boyd back, and this year he won't average a mere 11 carries per game.

Are we prenting he didn't have a 3 to 1 Total TD to Turnover Ratio his sophmore year?

Good. Arkansas being a dumpster fire is making the rest of the conference look bad.

Three of these transfers are much needed depth. There was talent, but that talent was exhausted and misused by the Chard.

Then Franks, let me put it succinctly. He is way better than anything we had, developed in the past 2 years.

With Briles, he may do extremely well....

Nobody knows for sure. But he isn't the only one we have either. KJ still has the tools to do well with development, and Hornsby coming as well.

We aren't saying we will be all world, but from the pitt of Hell we have been in... give us this!

Draper was a stud recruit out of HS that everyone wanted. Picked OU. Was slated to be the first starting freshman LB at OU since like 1975 when he tore up a shoulder and missed a year.

The kid that filled in for him was a low first round draft pick and never faltered...so Draper didn't get back on the field in a meaningful way. Has TWO years of eligibility so he's a very good pickup....probably will pan out to be a better pickup that Franks, even though the hogs need a QB worse than an eskimo needs a heater.
