UVA is truly awful this year. Didn't JMU beat VT recently?

Virginia may be the school the Big 10 and SEC would want but James Madison would be more likely to have a consistently decent team.

This is impossible. The Orange Pukes last week were telling me Virginia was the #2 team in the country behind the Orange Pukes

I think they're heading to a 1-11/0-12 season

Oh, I thought your subject line was about the cheeky-type spread.

Never mind.

JMU is a one of those FCS teams you don't want to see roll into your stadium. Oh sure, you should beat them, but even if you do it will likely be a dog fight where you pull away in the 4th quarter.

Watch out, Vols fans using Milton & the D’s performance against UVA as undeniable proof Big J is finally ready to take down Kirbs.

They're FBS now and would have won their division of the Sun Belt and gone to a bowl last year if not for the "transition years" nonsense from the NCAA. They were picked to win the Sun Belt East this year ahead of Appy State and Coastal.

And, of course, Virginia is horrid.

It's a solid school, too. Like a lot of big states that have blown up, Virginia has a lot of in-state kids who can't get into Virginia or Virginia Tech who are very good students. JMU has snatched up a bunch of them.

Beautiful campus in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.

Same with jacksonville ST. Out of 22 starters JSU probably has 10 or 12 that are legitimate P5 players but left a school or didn't quite make the grades. The transfer portal has helped these schools more than anyone. JSU has a wideout from Arizona and a QB from Nebraska, a lineman from UGA, a lineman from K State, a QB from NC State to name a few.

JMU is a great football program. One of the top and even won a national championship at the lower tier. I’ve gone to some of their games and they have a terrific atmosphere, crowd support and new (half) stadium.

I don’t know what is going on with Virginia. They had 3 of their players murdered at the end of last year.

Even scarier. They can honestly compete with Virginia in recruiting by emphasizing "we don't treat football as a burden." Liberty U. but with much better academics.

JMU is a very good football school for their level. Not sure how they will do at the FBS level now that they are in it. Their academics are very good also.

Those of you who want Virginia in the SEC should go to one of their home games. Half empty stadium and no atmosphere. VA Tech dominates them in football.

They'll probably cover it easily, too.
