All that money and additions to close the endzone off, to only add 2400 seats? What a waste.
Yeah. Aestheically looks nice, but a functionally stupid design. Move fans closer to the action, not further away. lol All that money just to make some rocks look sacred for some...

Dwight Howard. He could barely dribble a ball and never learned how to shoot a jump shot or free throw. Ironically, he was quite the athlete in his prime....

15 Years at Kentucky: 1 Natty 1 Runner-Up 2 Final Fours 3 Elite Eights $33mil to get rid of him? Every program outside of UNC, Duke, Kansas, and UConn would take that deal in a heartbeat....
Mark Few's record at Gonzaga is stupid good: https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/gonzaga/men/ And, ho-hum, just beat down Kansas today. Only thing Few is missing is a Natty. Imagine what he could do at a program with greater resources. I guess Spokane and the PNW is that nice of...

The best areas to recruit big, nasty linemen (except for Texas cities McAllen, San Antonio, and El Paso that have mostly non-athletic Mexican blobs)....
Tons of money, but can't get enough elite talent to win anything significant. They get really good coaches that realize the limitations and then get out of Dodge. They are just too weird and cult-ish. Good at times, but never sustained success. Sad, but true with all that money. ...
Rocky was a No-Brainer for Philly Jersey had to choose between Tony Soprano, Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, and Chris Christie  I guess Tony was the best choice ...
Selected the leading university to actually accomplish something.
Probably something stupid like a $5 Trillion project to produce a couple thousand pounds of useless rocks from Mars in the next 20 years....
It looks like they over thought this. Just call it Tiger Gear or Tiger Golf and rake in the $$. I'm assuming this Sun Day thing has something to do with Chineses marketing that would make him more than a simpler name....
What can the NBA do to make the game better
Nothing. It's run it's course. It was a great run, then the woke and Me, Me, Me culture took over. The NBA is dying a slow death going the way of college basketball which is on life-support these days....

re: LSU, rank your rivals

Posted by McNet on 1/23/24 at 10:17 pm
A rivalry is when hate and disdain has gone both ways for decades and decades. Auburn's rivals are Alabama and Georgia. Nothing else is really close after that. Florida's rivals are FSU and Georgia. Miami is probably 3rd due to yearly recruiting wars and heated history since the 60's. Ala...
