146 yards rushing vs Bama is no small feat.

Absolutely

OUCH!
Clearly LF was a better RB than Henry.

Imagine if Gus bus had Derrick Henry. He would have rushed for 3,000 yards on 700 dives up the middle.

Isn't LSU that school where talented RB's disappear for a few years before reemerging in the NFL?

Well Summer, those are good stats and all. Personally I think both guys were elite college backs. But as I said earlier in this post, the purpose of the thread is really about Tuscaloosa and gang moving the goalposts on what stats really matter.

I very clearly remember him back then saying Henry > LF his argument being 2,219 > 1,953. No matter that LF had greater YPC, or that he played 3 less games, or that against 6 common opponents LF had better YPC. Now, he is posting that YPC is the stat, not yardage. Also, he is wanting to remove the 2 long runs LF made for JAX this year to degrade LF's YPC. But he wouldn't be okay with removing the Bama game from LF's YPC/other stats even though Henry didn't have to face the best rush D in a game, but got to run up LSU's weak middle D and rack up yardage.

I never said that. I did laugh at Fournette’s YPC this year though. It was totally unimpressive. I member a bunch of 7SU fans pushing the YPC narrative a couple of years ago though.

mean, in 2015, when that record was set, Leonard Fournette rushed for 1,953 yards in 12 games, averaged 6.5 YPC, while D. Henry rushed for 2,219 yards in 15 games, averaging a paltry 5.6 YPC. So, in fact Fournette was clearly the best.

You want me to post the list of rushing defenses Fournette faced and what they were ranked again?

Henry should’ve called it a day after racking up 62 yards. It could’ve been a Lynyrd-esque performance.

So this whole thread is a response thread to one poster? He was being a homer and you’re still worked up about it.
