How come Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Texas opted out?
Bc bama uga ou and Tex are household names. Main event teams. They’re trying to build excitement around the jobbers.

Because those are the most boring teams in the SEC

There's nothing boring about Ole Miss. It's always rollercoasters and epic implosions.

yeah, definitely 60 months old. too young to have seen saban lose his shite like this on live tv multiple times in a single game.

Your coach for 17 years was Nick Saban and his blowups and colorful language therein are well-documented; moreover Bear Bryant wasn't a choir boy either. Cry me a river with your fake outrage, Bammer. People like this are more exhibits of proof why Bama is the worst fanbase in sports, it's not enough they win, they have to pretend they are holier than thou and above the fray.

On the other hand, opening with Shane Beamer praying over dinner with his family was a nice surprise!

That's about as far as I've gotten in the show so far.

Well, continue to watch. Besides saying God dam in the earlier episodes in a later one he proved he’s no choirboy either. He lets the F word fly.
Shane’s constant”leave it to beaver” act with his family is getting old. At first it seemed nice, but now his camera hogging kids running to him after the games and him acting like he hasn’t seem them in 10 years looks like it was all planned to make him look like the father in a 50s sitcom.

I think Clark Lea is a good coach after watching a few episodes. Watch out if Vandy starts putting together some good recruiting classes.

the more I see of BK, the more I dislike him. Seems like a lying politician that would throw you under the bus in a heartbeat to save his skin.

The Weeks brothers seem like good people

I doubt Vandy will change much. A private university that has few resources to compete with the rest of the SEC won't do much. They had a good year. But winning consistently isn’t in the cards for them.
By the end of that Netflix series I was sick of their obnoxious QB and even their coach who seems like a nice guy. Don’t know what they are putting in the water in Nashville but it must be addictive.
From their QB saying they were going to be the best team to ever walk the earth and their coach saying they were the best team in the world - not the state of Tennessee, not the SEC, not the nation. The World. All done with a straight face.
I was happy for Vandy until I saw them acting like they just won the Super Bowl for the 10th straight year. It was too much. I just wish my school was playing them this season. It would fun to slap some reality into them.

Kiffin didn’t want all the distractions around his program and thinks coaches are fake on the show yet ole miss the season followed team last year and he’s the first coach on Twitter after every game.
Maybe he doesn’t want to be on a show when you blow a playoff berth like last year

One thing I noticed was the videos inside the team buses etc. are from one game and not throughout the season. When South Carolina is driving to the stadium to play A&M they are showing the crowd and there are LSU shirts everywhere

They could have just avoided it but it's almost like they didn't expect people watching to notice and of course fans of CFB are going to notice that A&Ms attire doesn't look that close to LSUs

If LSU wins a NC with BK, it just continues the thought they can win with any coach. Let’s just say you had no idea who any of these coaches were or where they were coaching. You just knew them from the videos on this show of their coaching style. I would guess he was the worst of them all.

For a son called old timer, you sure are soft. I guess you never played football or watched Saban or even the Bear.

What a joke you are, now roll over and kiss your sister good morning

I did get my first laugh within the first 5 minutes when Lagway said something to the effect of "fans expect a 5 star freshman QB to come in and win immediately and that's unfair" and then it show a clip of him driving his Lamborghini...

Really?? Did you not play football ever at any point in time in your life? Do you think all the other coaches literally everywhere don't curse? This is what you found to be off putting?

Dude was just cussing to play a part for TV. Sort of like his whole gay arse fake accent “family” shite he did a day after he was hired. Just admit you hired an under-performing fake arse Yankee a-hole as your HC and call it a day.

I dunno. I think he came off badly early one in the first episode, but you can see he is trying to be old school and new school as he works.

There are some coaches who are going to prove too old school for NIL and the transition and some who are going to shoot from the hip as younger coaches who may have flash but not the discipline

We all would probably agree you have to have discipline and coach hard to win games against good teams. Some will yell more or less, but the foundation needs to still be take the kids you have, mold them into better players and better men, and then send them to the NFL or the workforce. That will mean differnent things for different programs

He comes off as fake and it’s not even that’s he not old school. Seems he should be a swimming coach and not football.
