Kamario Taylor's uncle played for MSU during the Croom/Mullen years. His family bleeds maroon. From what I hear Jeffery Simmons is making sure Kamario is taken care of while at MSU, so I doubt he transfers.

Money does talk, but for once we have something positive going on with MSU football again after Mike Leach passed.

The difference between last year's team and this year's team has been dramatic. I know we've only played 2 games, but I honestly can't remember a time when State won so convincingly in the 1st qtr the opposing team completely gave up running the ball which was their identity.

The key for us this year is to stay healthy because our 2nd/3rd string guys are no where near the level of the other SEC teams.

Dude was born and raised Hail State.

I figure between Dak, Jeff Simmons, several other top NFL players we'll make sure he stays at Hail State.

Lebby saved his job after that performance yesterday. I was never on board with firing him after this season. He's building a solid program.

I had the unfortunate timing to be there during Jackie's last year and start of Croom.

There was very little excitement in Starkville during that time.

2018 MSU defense showed Clemson what to do.

MSU got screwed over on a turnover that game and it would have been way closer than it was. They held Bama's offense in check all game.

I like his no quit attitude.

Many of these star players could learn something from him.

I'm going with TAMU because they have the money to compete, but always end up 8-4.

Honorable mention does go to MSU though after Leach passed. We let our stupid boosters get involved and they hated the air raid then we tried converting air raid people to some pro style offense.

I watched as a student when Maine beat us. We then went on to lose 3 more games after with UAB beating us as well.

The FLA game was a noon game and I didn't want to bake in the sun in the bleachers we had in the end zone figuring FLA would just blow us away. Tuned into game around half time and saw we had a fighting chance of winning, but given our previous play didn't think we would pull it off.

Missed storming the field that day because I didn't go to the game.

This team has no chance in hell of beating FLA. Croom sucked but he had defense. We have no defense.

Mike Leach seemed to always have the team prepared for games though.

I'm questioning our coaching hire base on player effort and lack of preparation. We have some good paid mercenaries on offense but I bet they bail after this season.

I was at the Maine game as a student.

What stood out to me was Maine must have taken the bare minimum of players to the game. Because when you looked at their sideline there was so much space between everyone you could clearly see the cover over the grass on their sideline. During normal games there's too many players/staff you couldn't see that.

And they still got an SEC win that day.

I liked the 3-2 game. I like defensive slugfests. You just felt like if you could just get one good play into field goal range you'd win the game.

Mississippi has more players in the NFL per capa than any other state. MSU ranks pretty high on the numbers of players it sends to the NFL.
