why do you think it is worth a 300% premium? I don’t know much about this company or how it is evaluated. Why would someone not just buy bitcoin direct or a bitcoin etf?

More consolidation, less jobs. Everything rolling up into the big companies where AI will further consolidate.
Unfortunately this little nat gas run will end as winter begins. Oil companies are all cutting back drilling and capex spending. I wouldn’t expect a big year from producers.

I wouldn’t buy energy stocks until we get a few earnings with lower oil prices. Maybe Q3 of next year

Yeah buddy, home of the does and button bucks. Between kisatchie and the neighboring properties, the mature bucks are nonexistent :lol:.
We have been trying to increase our deer habitat. Right now it’s mostly open big timber with little undergrowth. These dying trees will actually help get more sunlight on the ground. It is unfortunate it’s a lot of oaks though.

Bottomland hardwoods south of alec. We have some cow oak on the higher benches but the majority of the trees are nutall, willow and water oaks with a ton of hackberry and sweet gum mixed in. Cypress, willow, privet and winged elm in the sloughs and bayou.

Anyone else noticing a significant amount of dead trees? I’m assuming it’s from that bad drought in 2023.
Between the flood from Delta, freeze in 2021, major drought in 2023 and freeze again in 2025, we are seeing a significant amount of dead trees on our place (bottomland hardwoods).
The younger trees seem to have faired better. Maybe 5-10% tree kill in trees under 8” dbh. The larger trees are closer to 30-40% dead. We lost over 50% of our big white oaks that were 16”+ dbh.
The majority of the dead trees seem to be white oak (swamp chestnut) and red oak (water, nuttall). Anyone else seeing anything similar?

How do the antler shed blinds hold up to bugs/wasps? The track windows are nice but typically don’t seal great

Assuming this is true, what is the play? Bitcoin or gold? A financial meltdown would obviously devalue the dollar and crash the market.

I shot a doe yesterday. Came out with a group of 4 does, 2 larger, 2 smaller. I assume the smaller were yearlings but they didn’t have spots. However the doe did still have milk.
I’d rather not shoot a “mom” but it was a 30 yard shot I could ethically harvest with a neck shot and not ruin any meat. I don’t get to hunt as much as I’d like these days and need some freezer meat.
