So $260k with 30% tax equals $199k with zero tax. I get everyone under the $200k threshold will celebrate but $200k is arbitrary and has no legitimate basis for the cutoff. It needs to be a flat tax for all, preferably 0%.

Unless everyone’s first $200k isn’t taxed, that would be fine

Shale rigs are already stacking up as companies adjust capital budgets with lower crude prices. This will likely has some benefit in the future for offshore production, but those projects take years to develop. I doubt we see any meaningful difference short term. Expect total US oil to stay flat or drop depending on oil prices. Shale wells deplete quickly so it doesn’t take long for production to follow rig count.
Louisiana baws love their size 9 crocodile boots and cowboy hats too. Come on now.
lol women drivers in the air sounds terrifying
Not sure what’s weirder: paying someone who won’t sleep or not sleeping until people pay you. Glad it’s going to a good cause but weird all around.
That thing would crush like a coke can in any accident lol. Looks like they put wheels and a shitty plastic frame on a big drone

Trump should tax companies that offshore American jobs to Indian labor farms. Call centers are one thing, but now high dollar engineering jobs are being offshored. Exxon has a well surveillance center somewhere over there that are taking away previously American jobs. All to save a dime while exploiting American resources.

I see the plant baw ratio is skewed tonight. Easy to work in the plant during a snow storm with hazard pay watching movies and playing bourré

No more WFH, no more snow days

They took away wfh, in office every day now. But we still are expected to wfh on inclement weather days and sick days. Post Covid in office is the worst of both worlds.

Flat is good! I’m tired of the booms and busts. Unless you are CEO or high up on private side, there isn’t much of a compensation increase at the average employee level during a “boom”.

Sure the bonus might be a little higher in a boom, but not enough to offset the lower morale during huge layoffs in bust cycles.
Idk climbing into holes in the ground seems pretty primitive.

In before the “your mom” joke
I started taking my oldest when he was 2. He’s 4 now and we’ve gotten up to 45 min in blind. It’s all about the experience, at least that’s what I tell myself haha. I push him but when he’s ready to go, we go ride around on the 4wheeler. I think the most important thing right now is that he’s having a good time. I don’t want him to get burned out. Duck hunting is a lot more forgiving, I wish we had a good lease like I had as a kid
