Alabama folks: If you're walking along and see a pile of dog shite lying on the ground, you don't go over and step in it!..

I guess the worst part of this for LSU is that LSU still can't beat old, declining Bama.

Clemson kicked our arse, for sure, but Tua was dealing with the lingering knee injury and had surgery on his ankle only a few weeks before. That affects his entire game, as it takes away his mobility. Unfortunately, according to some reports, he may still not be 100%. That aside, he has to quit going for the long ball so often, and check down.

Oh yeah, but he did set the record last season for FBS passing efficiency.

1 Tua Tagovailoa Alabama So. QB 15 355 245 6 3966 43 199.4
2 Kyler Murray Oklahoma Jr. QB 14 377 260 7 4361 42 199.2
3 Will Grier West Virginia Sr. QB 11 397 266 8 3864 37 175.5
4 Dwayne Haskins Ohio St. So. QB 14 533 373 8 4831 50 174.1
5 Jake Fromm Georgia So. QB 14 306 206 6 2749 30 171.2
6 Brock Purdy Iowa St. Fr. QB 10 220 146 7 2250 16 169.9
7 D'Eriq King Houston Jr. QB 11 345 219 6 2982 36 167.0
8 Ross Comis Massachusetts Sr. QB 11 194 122 3 1799 14 161.5
9 Mckenzie Milton UCF Jr. QB 10 289 171 6 2663 25 161.0

Alabama totally destroyed Burrow and LSU. Was pretty sure it was possible. 29 unanswered points at one point. LSU was way out coached. LSU was overrated and continuing to decline. I think Saban might still be the new king of the SEC. Tua is 10 times better than Burrow. LSU defense not that good. Times are not changing at all. It’s always that time. I don’t think LSU can finish in the Top 2 in the SEC West. LSU is intimidated by Saban and Bama. Watch this game again. Clearly need to be intimidated. LSU still in tdecline.

IF Alabama had won the NC last year, Coach Saban might have retired, having won 2 NC in a row and having an undefeated NC team to end his tenure.

However, now this has reinvigorated Coach Saban, just like losing to Auburn in 2013. I expect Coach Saban to stay until 2023, and win at least another 3 NC.

Dabo wouldn’t take a step down. He’s built a dynasty.

Clemson beat our arse. No way around it. Did they have a significantly easier path, playing in the ACC, and drawing ND in the first game? Of course they did. But those are just excuses and you know what they say about excuses.

Besides Venebles drawing up a nasty defensive game plan, I thought that the smartest thing Clemson did was make Trevor Lawrence get the ball out quickly, neutralizing our pass rush, and taking advantage of our DBs. TL and the recievers executed that perfectly too. There were plenty of times when Quinnen Williams bulled through blockers, but TL would get it out just at the right time. All the credit in the world to that team.

You have no subtlety for trolling. The best trolls are those that one can't always tell if he's being serious, or just pulling chains again. You're too simple. Always just silly.

Only a fool would look at Bama's current roster and say they won't still be elite this year.

Alabama's secondary was dog shite last year, and their linebacker play wasn't particularly good either, relative to previous teams. Until I see evidence that these issues have been corrected, I won't believe they can win a national championship this year.

The decline is real.
Without superior talent, Saban is just an above average coach.

I forget what the final score was.

Well, yeah, even a 1% chance would mean that they can win.

But no...they won't win it without significant improvement in the areas I mentioned.

words, and the meaning of those words, is important.

You just contradicted your own comment. If one can do a thing it's not rational or reasonable to declare that it won't.

Be reasonable
Be rational
Don't be a silly Willy

So I should be serious and not silly on this internet message board?
