Georgia's biggest problem is they have 3 games against RPI 322+ teams plus a loss to UMass (#236). Alabama has 1 300+ RPI game and the next worst is Louisiana Tech at 194.
But about the worst loss: Alabama has an ugly one too (vs Minnesota, RPI 174, neutral). I know you could throw that one out on the basis of 3v5 but Bama wasn't winning that one 5v5
So I don't think there's much of a difference. And honestly UGA's non-conference wins vs St Mary's (in Cali) and at Marquette pop more than anything on Bama's resume

I don't disagree with any of that. However, if they were truly disregarding a lot of that stuff, Alabama would be comfortably in and Louisville and teams like that wouldn't even be sniffing the conversation.

I would argue a bit about this one. The 3 v 5 thing didn't matter, but that was a different Minnesota team with a different roster once Coffey went down and Lynch got suspended.
UMass went 11-13 vs Group 3/4. Minnesota went 12-5 vs Group 3/4. And they beat UMass by 20.
But, other than that, I generally agree.

Out
NCAA doesn’t take teams with ZERO momentum
Maybe if they were 7-3 in last 10

I think they are in but if 1 or 2 teams that are not in win their tournaments then that would change.

Still razor close. Ive heard an argument that having Sexton helps because NBA prospects are great for ratings.

If they lose tomorrow, their out.

I say In and I think they beat us tomorrow.

18-15 is barely good enough for NIT, if they make the NCAA with that record the whole thing is a joke

In!
How could any team with 2 wins over A&M miss out?

I’m not allowed to offer my opinion if I start a thread? Lol

Well, Bama can’t lose to AU by 30 and expect to be in.

In. They will be a lock when they beat Auburn tomorrow.

If it’s a convo between Oklahoma and Alabama, Alabama better get a unanimous YES over Oklahoma, plus the H2H win. If OU gets in, then something is very wrong with the selection committee.

Notre Dame losing right now that's good for Bama

MTSU just lost so that conference is going to have a bid stealer.

That conference only deserves one bid.
