MTSU just lost so that conference is going to have a bid stealer.
MTSU has a 50/50 shot at best of getting an at-large

I think they win tomorrow they are in for sure. It's 50/50 based on other bubble teams if they don't.

LSU got in one year when they were 8-10 in conference play and lost by 38 to Auburn!

If Alabama doesn't win CONVINCINGLY against a weakened (few players) Auburn, they are not making the NCAA tournament no matter how much Paul Finebaum or any SEC talking head or you mouth breathers try to over sell the "momentum" they have gained from going 3-7 and 1-4 in their last few games. Great season guys...enjoy the NIT.

Sexton can be seen by scouts there too.

Do people really think bama gets in if they lose today or are there just a bunch of rustled bama fans in this thread?

Most of the so-called experts have them in after yesterday's win. I tend to agree, though realize their footing is very precarious. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they don't get in if they lose today.

Committee no longer looks at the last 10-12 games when making their selections, so that's in our favor.

Yea, anybody who thinks they do is dumb

2017 Xavier
- lost 7 of their last 10 with 2 of those wins over 9-23 DePaul (they ended up going to the Elite 8)

2017 South Carolina
- lost 5 of their last 7 (they ended up going to the Final 4)

2016 Syracuse
- lost 5 of their last 6 (they ended up going to the Final 4)

right, they look at the fact that no team has ever had a record as bad as Alabama and got in without winning a conference basketball tournament with an auto bid...good luck breaking all those years of precedents

look up any words you idiots don't understand there...since I'm from Texas and actually educated
