2 dominant football teams for sure

Yeah except one did it in a normal season, and one didn't. I don't know why this is such a hard concept.

2019 LSU aside, how can you look at the season full of depleted rosters due to a worldwide pandemic, crowd-less stadiums, your 3 week bye in the middle of November, and even your NCG game opponent who played half a season (and got their conference to bend the rules for them), and say this was the best football team the sport of college football has even seen? It's almost a spit in the face to the other 130+ national champions who actually played in a normal season.

It makes it more incredible that your program that has more resources and talent than anyone by far beat down on half-arse rosters due to opt-outs and contract tracing? Why is your fanbase so incredibly low IQ?

LSU beat:
#2 Clemson (14-1)
#4 Georgia (12-2)
#6 Florida (11-2)
#7 Oklahoma (12-2)
#8 A1abana (11-2)

By a combined score of:
230-132

That’s 5 of the Top 8 - not 5 of the Top 13

And 15-0 unlike b1ma

Believe what?

We just won the national title. We dominated everyone we played. I'm ecstatic about it.

Wait?? Did a bama fan just admit that opt outs and not having full rosters could have huge effects on the outcomes of games?! It's almost like he's saying teams might not be as good without theirs starters playing...

That can't be the case though, right?

Y’all say this shite like we wouldn’t have demolished a low tier SEC team like Kentucky or Missouri last year. Throw anyone in there LSU would have skull fricked them all.

If you want an honest answer, pretty much every talking head is marveling that Alabam kept their focus in this shitstorm. It is pretty tough to go undefeated in a regular year, but playing an all P5 schedule with last minute schedule changes, issues with players and coaches being out, dealing with the stress of a season with all the extra pressure of Covid nonsense is an accomplishment. Some teams handled it poorly, but this Alabama team thrived.

All this asterisk bullshite is the affront to all the players on every team who gave blood, sweat and tears to play the game they love this season. Tell the young Tigers who went into the Swamp and won a game no one gave them a chance in that it didn’t matter and deserves an asterisk, or all the SEC teams who played in bowl games and won against better ranked teams.

So are you willing to admit that LSU played at least 3 games last year against teams that had numerous starters out? Not just games, but Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. So basically the top SEC opponents LSU faced last year.
