2025 - @ Appalachian State

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd love a game at App State. Obviously would need to be a 2 for 1 or even 3 for 1 deal but I think that's awesome and a unique trip for fans. Again, I doubt very many fans of SEC teams would like their teams to play in Boone.

It was crazy how few Tech fans were at the game this year. Been to a lot of games at Bobby Dodd and this seemed like Tech's smallest crowd. I know they'd had a terrible season but there honestly may have been only 20,000 Tech fans.

Towards the end of the game there were only three guys, and one of them had a bag over his head.

Future Alabama OOC opponents

As much as it pains me to say this, props to the Alabama administration for recognizing that they have a scheduling problem and fixing it. That’s a respectable OOC schedule despite what anyone will say about GT and USF. Especially 2026 @WVU, vs. USF, and vs. FSU.

Sounds like they caught some flak from season ticket holders over the past few years. Now that the cupcake mentality is being called out, I would love to see the SEC schools all go to at least two P5 OOC games, but I guess it’s tough giving up those extra home games.

I have to say I’m surprised to see Bama agreeing to a home-and-home with GT and a 2-for-1 with USF considering both those schools have like 60k seat stadiums.

I can't wait til we put our YJ foot in your azz this Nov

Your Offense is mediocre, and we're improving, your defense won't be able to win 11 games every yr with that shytty Offense you're putting out there

Weak Forest QB plus 4 new starters on the OLine = a shytty season by your most recent standards and an upset loss to us in Nov

After Nov you'll change your username to GeeCeeScammedGT. Then hopefully we'll cancel this horrible "rivalry" series and play somebody more interesting.

GT went from 7-6 in 2018 to 3-9 in 2019.

I dont think you know what improving means (typical when talking sports with a nerd)

Not at all.

Think it is more of a PSA that apparently Saban plans on retiring after the 2035 season.

Never thought there was a cupcake mentality; granted, the last two neutral site games (Louisville & Duke) sucked but that doesn’t mean the same applies to either the ones before or after. The Power 5 neutral site games before 2018 under Saban were FSU (twice), Clemson, Virginia Tech (twice), Michigan, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and USC, all respectable teams (we also had a home and away in that timeframe with Penn State). The two neutral site games left on our future schedules are USC next year and Miami in ‘21.

We also play Wisconsin and FSU in ‘25. Glad to see we’re scheduling two Power 5 schools some years, hope we see more of that...

Why would Bama schedule Georgia Tech? To dress up a rent a win?

Because they are a regional Power 5 opponent with whom we have a long history?

Lsu is the same way for the next 15 years or so as well. I wonder if a lot of teams won’t schedule top SEC teams that they know are far more likely to beat them unless they get their home game first.

Tech won its last meeting against Bama. I'm sure bama wants to change that.

And tech has won its last 2 meetings against Auburn.
