Aggy getting bested by the likes of Kansas, SMU and Liberty for even being considered a top 25 team.

A mass transfer exodus rid Texas A&M of hordes of talent following Jimbo Fisher’s exit, but the cupboard in College Station will be far from bare when Mike Elko gets to work in 2024. They boast the most FCS newcomers in their recent haul, giving Elko a foundation from which to build — particularly on the defensive side of the ball. Texas A&M could possess one of the SEC’s worst defenses right out of the gate, but it has a high floor with an unproven HC at the helm.
