agreed. I don't mind necessarily but with the NFL now playing a night game on Thursday it doesn't really make any sense.
If I were picking, we'd schedule it Friday prime time in both locations. It does need to be a night game imo.

Mike Slive cajoled LSU into playing the Ags on Thanksgiving in 2014.
I do not care for LSU fball games to be played anytime on Thanksgiving, anywhere. I hope LSU sticks to its guns and does NOT agree to play on Tgiving at A&M unless it is a 14 playing date season like 2014.
And a rivalry with A&M? That is laughable.

reading the A&M boards now. I'd say it's about 80/20 against playing on Tday any longer. The problem is that the 20 is probably the only people that matter (ie, old frickers with juice)

That is just LSU's AD getting leverage against the REC. He knows we are Slive's pet project now and this is the only way he can get leverage for LSU. Congrats, the wand will be waved and yall will get the bye week before Thanksgiving every year.

Friday makes more sense from a logistical standpoint, but the head to head this year will probably make me love it forever.

Playing tu on Thanksgiving Day is the tradition, not playing LSU on Thanksgiving. We should let playing on Turkey Day die with the tu rivalry.

Friday would be best, that's when LSU always played their Super Bowl against Arkansas.
