I dgaf what day we play. I only care about the game having some meaning.

Let's be honest. That game is the closest any player from Arkansas will get to playing in a Super Bowl.

I would have agreed a few years ago, but I like it now for three reasons:
1. As long as playing LSU on T-day weekend is a "tradition" then the Texas game can NEVER slip back into that spot if they end up back on the schedule.
2. The butthurt that will come out of Austin on that day will be fricking glorious.
3. Given how much LSU fans hate it, it helps us build a rivalry through a losing streak against them.

You play both those teams every year just like LSU. Promote a rivalry with them then.
