Tbh that’s probably true for every team. If some of these guys don’t get immediate playing they’ll transfer

Ricks is average and cancer in the locker room, Butterfingers Palmer had his best game EVER in an LSU uniform vs A&M & S. Car, Max hurts the most, but he knew Brennan was coming back, so he was out. I hope he starts at A&M from day one. None of the transfers hurt LSU schematically, depth yes, but we’ll hit the transfer portal to replenish depth.

We need at least 10 to hit the portal this year just to get down to 85. Maybe more than that if a few guys don't declare for the NFL as expected.
For that to happen we will need to lose some guys who are SEC caliber players. Good opportunity for Arkansas, Auburn, and Florida to pick up some quality transfers.

5 of our top 10 are linemen. Linemen don’t transfer like quarterbacks and receivers do. Our youngsters who are skill players won’t sit for more than a year before going into regular rotation. Not worried. One of the quarterbacks will undoubtedly transfer though which is fair. That problem isn’t unique to A&M

Guys that won't play (not good enough) transfer. It's something that's typically a win-win for everyone.

Even if they do, they may transfer: Nix, Calzada, Johnson, etc.

Thank you for your comment. That is the beauty of recruiting so many good potential players. It makes room for more great players that can replace them, without missing those who left.

10? Between the portal and medical retirements, we need at least 16 more.
We currently have 7 running backs and 8 tight ends including the 2022 signees. Some will have to leave.
