We are #1 or #2 in almost every defensive stat when looking at SEC only stats but most A&M fans think our defense sucks and is a weakness. Not much excitement considering the results.
When Jimbo and Ed O were fired I think the Aggies and LSU were down to something like 40 players after the transfer portal. A lot of our top players like LT Overton transferred.

Our basketball team and Arkansas had zero scholarship players left after losing our coaches.

The roster attrition is going to be massive regardless of who is hired.
Their OL is pure arse and their OC and OL coach were fired for performance.

Looking at the Bama box scores of our common opponents makes me think you all don't belong in the discussion at all. Pretty pathetic showings by your offense and defense.

Why did Bama lose to Florida State and struggle with Mizzou, South Carolina, and LSU? You are lucky you only have 1 loss after those close games against inferior competition.
I never understood the Aggies here that jerk off Bama. They kicked our arse nearly every year with Saban and his NIL program before NIL was legal. Like do yall enjoy arse beatings? Some weird BDSM fetish.
I would rather have Reed. Im sure you would rather have Arch.

Neither QB is elite and they both miss easy throws and are inconsistent. Similar passers but Reed is more of a running threat and seems like a better team leader. I may be biased though.

So unless you can show me a better way to calculate SoS, I'll be sticking the metrics I currently use. I hope other metrics like the ones you are citing wake up to the fact their metrics suck.

I believe what you are describing is strength of record, not strength of schedule. Amd i believe A&m has the #1 SOR in the country.

Our defense has struggled against good running backs and teams that run the ball really well. Texas doesn't really present a threat there and Arch is a decent runner but he's not elusive. A team like Ole Miss is a match up nightmare for us, like Arkansas was, but I think we match up nicely with Texas.

Texas has an elite defense though and I think our offense is going to struggle against you. We'll need to hit some big plays because I dont see us sustaining a bunch of Ling drives against that defense.

Im expecting a very close, hard fought game.
We should not be #1. I could see an argument for #2 given Indiana nearly losing to a bad PSU team. However, I prefer us to stay at #3 and continue to be bashed and disrespected.

Would love to see the committee drop us below Bama and Georgia. I think our team plays better with a chip on their shoulder.
What did KJ Ford say? Asking for a friend.

2020 is the last year that we made it through a season without having our 2nd, 3rd or 4th string QB play most of the season. We have been decimated by injuries every year.

Its one of the reasons its so hard to finish in this league. You may have a different team in week 13 than week 1. Aside from the QB spot, Mizzou is extremely healthy compared to the average SEC squad this late in the year. Your injury report was minimal.

I dont see our fans pounding their chest over the win. Elko was pissed in the post-game press conference and thought our defense played poorly. Most of our fans thought we did not play well and should have won by a much larger margin.

It wasn't a great game by any stretch and I can see why people think we are overrated after watching it. Give Mizzou defense some credit for making our offense look so bad.

You keep talking about how banged up and wounded Mizzou was because you were missing 2 starters and a kicker. We were down a starting OL, RB, LB, and S so we had more starters out than you including arguably our best offensive player in Moss.

Your lack of depth was a big difference in the outcome and something that Drink needs to address moving forward. Your defense got worn out in the 4th quarter due to lack of depth.

A&M will not make the sec champ game with a loss. We have to win out.

Why is A&M scared to host UGA?

Ask Sankey
Not playing Kentucky or Georgia more often is a function of the previous divisional format.
We used to play Bama ever year when they were dominant under Saban. Meanwhile a bunch of SEC east schools dodged Bama ever year.

Did we post on the Rant whining about all the SEC East schools whondidnt have to play Bama? No.

Not surprised that Texas and OU are already whining about how hard their SEC schedule is. We dealt with that shite for 12 years in the SEC West.

This isn't the Big 12 Texas and OU. You will have to play good teams in conference.
There was no way the conference was letting you win that game. Too much on the line.
Will be 4 or 5

A&M, Bama, Georgia, Ole Miss and

Texas, OU, or Vandy
