Our defense is handling the spotlight just fine. The 30mph wind gusts are impacting both teams on offense. Miami has 69 total yards at the half and 31 passing. That wind is an issue.

I dont see us winning this one. Miami is more talented and has a better overall roster. Our defense is not good against the run and Miami can grind us out.
Our offense is inconsistent and Klein is distracted as evidenced by the Texas game.

I think the consensus view on the Rant was we didn't want Texas across all fan bases. Nobody was looking forward to them joining. Unfortunately, we were not given a vote. A small number of people in Birmingham made the decision and it was all about $$$.

I won't judge him at all this year. Im shocked he was able to find 14 guys to put on scholarship and fill out the roster. He was hired well after most portal transfers were gone and Buzz took errbody when he left.

We suck. Our coach had like 2 weeks to recruit 14 dudes out of the portal. He walked in to a brutal situation thanks to Buzz dragging his feet.

Our defensive front was better on paper but not in terms of production. That line last year was stacked with NFL talent but could not get to the QB. I think poor secondary play had something to do with that. Very few coverage sacks last year.
This year we had matched 2024s sack total by week 7 or 8.

This is a late season BAS flair up. The only cure will be for us to win a National Championship. You're going to see a lot of this from Aggies over the next few weeks regardless of what happens against Texas.

They beat Indiana, Georgia, and Penn State last year and played Ohio State closer than Texas did in the NC game. They did just fine in the playoffs.
They also have a very good team this year. It took a miracle for us to beat them and we got very lucky on that 4th down catch to win it. They are as good as the SEC teams vying for the playoffs.

A lot of that passing was dump offs in the flat or short passes though. Didn't see any downfield passing threats though I guess you didn't need them. I just didn't see much of a vertical passing game at all.

I saw the same thing. Texas OL did a nice job and the RBs picked up the blitz well. Arch had a decent amount of time. Maybe things changed in the 4th quarter when I turned it off.

Yeah it was a serious question. Haven't watched much of Georgia this year. I will say Kirby impressed me with the 4th down call and onside kick. That just completely changed the momentum after Texas got close.
