There were five land runs... one lottery and one auction.
The one run you didn't list was the Cheyenne-Arapaho land run.
The lottery and auction were in southwest Oklahoma. The lottery was for Comanche, Kiowa, Apache, Wichita and Caddo land...
The auction was for the "Big Pasture" which had been reserved for hunting by those tribes... Very similar to how the Cherokee strip was for hunting.
It should be noted that in all the land runs with the exception of the 1889 run... the tribal members got to pick their quarter sections first.
Oklahoma should be noted first for cow chip throwing... originated in No Man's Land...the Panhandle of Oklahoma... Beaver, OK.
And Noodling. Paul's Valley, OK is the Noodling capital of the world.

Florida is King for endurance racing. The Rolex24 in January and the 12 Hours of Sebring in March.

UK came out of Kentucky University which is now known as Transylvania University. It was founded in 1780 with a charter signed by Thomas Jefferson. UK was founded in 1865 as a land grant university.
