Speaking of, is there a Catholic church in Fayetteville?
Not a fan of his coaching, but Cal is a good ole Catholic boy at heart and attends regularly, makes all the Holy days and lights a bunch of candles.
Pretty sure he’s spent a lot of time in confession asking for forgiveness the last five years.

There's actually quite a few Mormons down here. I think their beliefs are loony, but everyone I have known personally would be considered a good person/citizen.

Is Pope Mormon, or did he just coach at BYU?

No , Kentucky's not in the deep south but that 351-foot tall
obelisk at Jefferson Davis' birthplace in Fairview , Kentucky is
unbelievable --- too big for the Woke crowd to tear down for now
but it is being targeted.

I love Kentucky for Senator Rand Paul and for Congressman Thomas Massie

That's cool, man.
Fried chicken and alcohol does not the Deep South make.

Well, the Colonel didn't spend his "youth" in Alabama. He was there for about four or five years working for the railroad in his early twenties.
Later he practiced law in Little Rock. Dude lived in about six different states and managed to launch his chicken joints in Utah... a place he never lived.

Mostly uninformed. Just hoping my rather stupid and inane opinion of Kentucky being a lousy state would stick somehow.

Ahhh so is Utah considered the "deep south" as well? At least based on the other guy's standard?

If you spent any time in the state prior to Ronnie in the WH in 1980 you would understand what I am trying to tell you. If you are young or just trolling, I get it, but if you are not I am trying to give you the inside scoop and the actual history of the state. Both POTUS of the time were aware of the value of the state at the time of the WoNA. It was "occupied" by the Yankees because Abe was well aware of the value of the state to the North.

Are you sure about that?

1996, that’s the last time a Democrat won Kentucky in a presidential election.

Probably going to have a lot of new "Catholics" going to Mass and sitting down the whole time just to try to meet Cal at first. Just don't let them see the wine. There may be a lawsuit...
