Is it career or just peak level of play? For one season Joe Burrow and Cam Newton are the two best players I have seen in my lifetime. Tebow had more longevity.
Cam all the way. Tebow and Burrow were surrounded by elite talent.

Another reason why Fairley should have been included. He was the 2010 AU defense

Where is Percy Harvin?

No Bo Jackson or Hershel Walker? Seriously

Shawn Andrews easily the best offensive lineman. Matt Jones easily the best Athlete.

The author is from West Virginia. Maybe he honestly forgot about Fairley?

I like the fact that the Arkansas players are kids from Arkansas. We just don’t produce enough of them.

5. Jadeveon Clowney, South Carolina, Defensive End (2011-2013)
Has anyone, in any sport, garnered more hype over one play than Clowney?

Prescott at 50 while Manziel is 15 is a fricking joke.
Dak was a beast of an athlete in college and would have won a Natty at a program with more talent.
Imagine Johnny with a defense?!
He was the first freshman QB to ever win a Heisman.... Dak never won it

Pollack may have had more longevity but there’s no way he was a better player than Glenn Dorsey.

Did I miss Derrick Brown on here? Most disrupted force on a d-line in recent memory.

Michael Sam was good but he was the 3rd best defender on his own team.

Cam
Burrow

These guys are on a different level than the rest

Boss Bailey, Greg Blue, Thomas Davis, Knowshon. Jordan Davis, Brock Bowers, Nick Chubb
Marcus Lattimore, Randall Cobb, Cadillac.
All those guys would be top 25, much less top 50

Clowney and David Pollock as the two best defensive players in the last 21 years. Complete bullshite.
They should be on the list but not Top 25, much less Top 10. Both CJ Mosely and Devin White were better.
