Would you complain if it was your team?

I guess it doesn’t matter since your program has two sweet 16s ever.

These aren't college programs anymore. They're hedge funds.

It’s really disturbing. It is what it is but really need a one time free transfer rule.

I’m not even sure these players really care all that much about the university they are playing for

Correct. The players are just assets within the fund. I don't hate it, but it's not college sports anymore.

Unironically private equity is trying to purchase state funded college teams.

Do you feel as if it was college sports when only certain schools were allowed to pay for players and not get penalized for it? This is the fallout from the bullshite that happened for years

Oh please, we have all been paying players for forever.

Iowa or someone got in major trouble for it all the way back in the 1920's, it's been happening for decades.

Until they make major structural changes, this is what college sports are now.

60% of starting QB's last year were transfers and rising.

Teams are just random assortment of mercenaries wearing random jerseys.

Yeah they have, and yet certain teams were willing to risk it all and got away with it, while others were completely shut down for it.

Indiana won the football natty with a ton of transfers. I think its safe to say the Big 10 has this shite figured out better than the SEC.

And where would your football team have finished last year without a transfer at QB?

Pro sports junior level…..

It is a way non-billionaires can feel like billionaire sports team owners….
