People need to sit down and hash this out to calm down. Just be aware if you talk it out over lunch, not to serve PB&J. We don't need hands thrown.

Some of you guys are talking about attempted murder charges, comparing peanuts to cyanide, trying to get people cancelled or worse. Over a news article it seems many didn’t read.
Welcome to the SEC rant where idiots and drama queens make a big deal when it’s peanuts.

Yeah and that was really fricked up, but drinking jizz doesn’t kill people. If it did you’d be in trouble.

Also, wasn't George Pickens accused of whooping the hell out a small kid in hs?
It was fake news
Debunked
An Auburn fan account posted a video of Pickens wrestling and eventually body slamming someone with the caption “George Pickens beating up a mentally handicapped kid”. A larger CFB account posted it themselves and called for Pickens to be expelled.
The kid in the video turned out to be his teammate and close friend.

A OLD video of me and @geo_Thagoat y’all have the story all wrong I am not mentally handicapped in no way shape or form and I was not brutally abused. I maintain a 3.1 GPA and I am a nationally ranked track athlete
The CFB account deleted the post and apologized to both Martin & Pickens. Seems like you fell for the fake news.

If someone willfully exposes someone to something they already said could kill them, they're psycho.
Just to make sure I didn’t miss anything, I went back and reread the article and listened to mom’s interview again.
The ONLY person claiming that they knew he was deathly allergic to peanuts is the mom. No one else. Maybe instead of a psycho I am just a skeptic.
Do you think that the school, DA, and law enforcement really just swept this all under the rug to protect the bullies as someone else is claiming?

This thread wouldn’t be a thing if kid was looking at Georgia. OP dgaf he’s the same guy who pretends to be a kid but taking a moral high ground on peanuts. Dudley is a fktard

I do know this was a one sided story
Not really at all. There’s an audio recording of them asking him if his allergy could kill him. We know the peanut thing happened. What exactly is hearsay here?

He got a rash. Wasn’t hospitalized from what I see. Definitely didn’t die.
I see you are both unaware how allergies work & unaware how aggravated assault works.
1. An allergic reaction isn’t pleasant whether or not it kills you
2. Most reactions occur with increasing severity per exposure, avoiding exposure is both a matter of immediate and future health — you cannot precisely predict how aggressively a severe allergy may intensify from one exposure to another.

This seems normal
It’s not normal. Nothing about this is normal. The school board fkd up bad here & this is going to backfire. Not a good message to send. Good on the mom if she takes it to them.

Just at a glance that kid doesn’t look like a beast SEC caliber DL. He looks more like a B12 quality player
Posted on 2/21/24 at 8:27 am to momentoftruth87
That’s because I stopped being a kid 3.5 years ago

It is ironic that you started this thread and then posted a perfect example of faux outrage based on bullshite reporting.
There have been way to many cases like this for me to go grab my pitchfork just yet.

I hope this is just a few internet badasses trying to look tough. Capdalton is probably 300+ pounds and bullying potheads in his trailer park. If he was able to procreate and had an IQ above 80, he would have a much different perspective.

The explosion in peanut allergies and the SUPERKARENS who go with them is ironic because more studies show that PARENTS are the reason for the increase in kids being allergic because they are such nazis in eliminating exposure early on in life. Multiple studies have revealed minimal or no reaction to peanuts through either inhalational or cutaneous routes for those who have become allergic..

In the past several years, in keeping with the dual-allergen exposure hypothesis, evidence has emerged that early ingestion of peanut has a role in the prevention of peanut allergy. In 2008, an observational study revealed a 10-fold higher prevalence of peanut allergy among Jewish school-aged children in the United Kingdom compared with Jewish school-aged children in Israel (P < .001), with the major difference between the populations being age at introduction of peanuts. Peanut was introduced more commonly in the first year of life and fed more regularly as part of the diet in Israel than in the United Kingdom. In 2015, the Learning Early About Peanut Allergy (LEAP) trial, a randomized controlled trial of 640 infants at risk for peanut allergy due to severe eczema and/or egg allergy, provided high-level evidence that early ingestion of peanut (between 4 and 11 months of age) reduced peanut allergy by up to 80% compared with peanut avoidance until 5 years of age. A strong protective effect with early peanut introduction was seen in infants with both negative and mildly positive results on the peanut skin prick test (SPT), suggesting a primary and secondary preventive effect. In a follow-up study to LEAP (LEAP-On), 1 year of peanut avoidance after 5 years of age did not increase the risk of peanut allergy between groups (P = .25), suggesting longevity of this protective effect. A recent meta-analysis on timing of allergenic food introduction and allergy prevention revealed moderate-certainty evidence (2 trials; 1550 participants) that early peanut introduction (between 4 and 11 months of age) reduces the risk of peanut allergy (P = .009).
