Sorry but 12-1 conference champion Oklahoma isn't getting skipped by 12-1 non champ bama.

Didn't Bama jump Ohio State in 2017? Ohio St had a bad loss to Iowa or some other team that season which allowed that to happen. I guess it depends on how bad each team's loss is.

If Bama's only loss is a close loss to Georgia in the championship game, and Oklahoma loses to Kansas or some other low to mid-tier team, I think the committee might do what they did in 2017.

CFB PLAYOFF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME When: Monday, Jan. 13, 2020 Where: Mercedes-Benz Superdome; New Orleans, La. Projected matchup: No. 2 Georgia vs. No. 4 Alabama Quick bite: Alabama's revenge tour comes full circle in the postseason this fall. After avenging January's loss to Clemson in the semifinal, Nick Saban turns the page on his first career loss to an assistant coach in the SEC title contest and beats Smart and the Bulldogs for his seventh career national championship, passing Paul 'Bear' Bryant for most all-time. In an epic clash of potential top-pick quarterbacks, Tagovailoa out-duels Jake Fromm in a memorable final game that mirrors the national title showdown from two years ago.

My mistake. I thought they only had that one bad loss.

Still think Bama could jump Oklahoma if Bama's only loss is a close loss to Georgia in the championship game, and Oklahoma loses to Kansas or some other low to mid-tier team later in the season the committee might put Bama over Oklahoma.

Not saying I think that should happen, or even will; but it remains a possibility.

Depends on who Oklahoma loses too. If Bama loses to Georgia and ou lost to Kansas, no way ou gets in. Bad losses have killed Ohio state twice. U can have a loss. U can't have a BAD loss.

Why in the ever living frick do people keep thinking Michigan makes the playoffs? I would probably bet every dollar and cent I got Michigan doesn't make the playoff. Ohio State probably beats them by 35 like they do every year anyway. Please don't expect much from Michigan.

I'd love to see Penn State this year. Moorehead has a lot to prove this year. I think he is a good coach and has proved it every where except game day. Game Days will decide whether he gets to stick around long term. He is a good recuiter and I like what he has to say but he left a lot to be desired in several games last year. Nicky Fitz was a square peg for him but he refused to stray from him. This year he has his guy who learned in his system. Defense will regress back some but the offense shouldn't be abysmal this year.
